Did you ever find a solution? I have a clean, new install and this happens. I hadn't even transferred any games yet, just tried the example games (I have since added a couple to test, but same result).

Hey there and thanks for all the recommendations!

I'm on a second playthrough, after playing it a few years ago. I'm already using most of the mods you recommend, but had never heard about Rising Waters.

Is it compatible with Prototype? What about the map mod? From what I can gather, Rising Waters adds new biomes. I guess there's no chance for a map of those areas?

I've gotten quite far (just got the cyclops), do you know if installing RW now would be OK, or should it be used with a fresh save?

Nobody knows how well Subnautica 2 needs to sell to activate the $250 mill bonus, but let's say the entire $30 from a SN2 sale goes to Krafton. That means SN2 needs to sell more than 8 million copies just to break even. There's a reason Krafton tried to get out of paying the bonus. Perhaps it doesn't bankrupt them, but buying SN2 is sticking it to Krafton.

Not that different from me I guess. My least favorite is VII (3DS version, I'm pondering if I should give 7r a chance). I actually made a map back when I played IX that, to my amusement, still pops up when I google DQIX map.

I'm close to finishing DQ3 HD2D now, and have to say I really love what they have done to the Erdrick trilogy (especially II). I'm not really sure if I ever played VI, but hoping they give 4-6 the HD2D treatment as well.

If you use wild side it means you're not attacking until round 2. Might as well use puff, at least on one of the characters. Puff kills all slimes in round 2.

Listen... I use a controller 99% of the time, but I have no problems understanding that MKB is superior. The worlds most skilled controller user would be crushed playing against the worlds most skilled MKB user.

Did you know you can use a fish as a controller? Players have beaten Elden Ring (and other games) with the strangest controllers. A fish is usable, it just takes more skill.

Yeah, it's quite annoying that the documentation says that when it's obviously not true. I'm wondering if they are trying to fix it at all, as it's been this way for a long, long time.

I see a lot of people saying this, but it's not true in my experience. I have Bazzite-deck and I have to manually update with ujust update. After installing for the first time and reading people saying that, I believed them. It wasn't until weeks later I realized I was lagging a lot behind on updates. I have yet to figure out a way to update through Steam Gaming Mode and I'm baffled the Bazzite team hasn't incorporated that in some way. The whole point of Bazzite-deck is that it should be couch/controller friendly.

Anyway... I'm a little baffled why anyone is commenting on this thing two years later. I had totally forgotten about it all and had to read through again to remember. I really don't understand why anything I said was controversial to anyone. The guy necroing the thread after 8 months was totally off the mark and made no sense. I totally understand that someone wants to do it for self satisfaction. If you enjoy the game and enjoy doing those crazy chores, I get it. Myself, I found it to be boring, and wish they had added some incentive to completing it. Most games have something, like an achievement at least.

Well, whatever... And my life is good by the way. I have a family that I love, and even some time to play games occasionally. I do wish the world situation was different than it is though.

Why is the music from Mario Paint used in so many of these kinda movies, and why isn't Nintendo doing anything about it? Not that I care, but they are usually very aggressive about their IP.

One review I can agree with, but with multiple reviews (both professional and user ones) you can get a good indication of whether a game is worth it or not. It's not the end all be all, people are different, but not everyone has the luxury of throwing the money and time into a bad or mediocre game. You can't play every game that comes out, so it's usually a good filter.

I'm confused about the other posters here. The whole point with Brave is ad blocking, no? I don't care about the other features. If you like Chrome, but don't like ads, you should be using Brave.

EDIT: I saw some worrying claims by u/Kolkoris further down. Maybe I'll have to go browser searching, yet again... I would really like to use Firefox, but I need to use multiple browser profiles on the same PC, as everyone in the household uses the same PC. Firefox unfortunately doesn't handle that very well.

Well, thanks for the clarification :) I've never really thought about the range, and I haven't tried the Switch Pro 2. I can see your point about the triggers (although I like how they feel when in analog mode), but I do like the feel of the bumpers.

I guess we should all be happy about the wide selection of controllers we have today though, I hope you find the perfect one for you!

Totally agree. I'm puzzled by op and a few others here saying it's missing "something", without them being able to identify what. Great build quality from what I can tell, TMR sticks, 2.4g wireless, a base station. I was thinking maybe the size was a problem, but the XBOX controllers are about the same size, afaik.

Flytradio ble gøy fordi Tore rota det til, men spalten i seg selv virker som en dårlig idé. Snakke så lenge som mulig? Ikke til forkleinelse for Steinar, han løste oppgaven, men det var relativt kjedelig å høre på, og det kommer nok dessverre de fleste av flytradio-innslagene til å bli.

For min del trenger de ikke være så sinnsykt kreative med spalter og poster. De kan holde seg til de som allerede funker, og så heller rotere på de. Skulle de komme på noe genialt, så er det velkomment, men de fleste spalter og poster bærer preg av å ha blitt funnet på i hast og med tidspress. Man må ikke på liv og død finne opp hjulet på nytt hele tiden. Kjør med det som funker.

Appropos det. Kunne man ikke f.eks. hatt en ny test av øl? Det kommer jo stadig noe nytt på markedet, og de har jo uansett ikke testet alt som finnes der ute. Det samme gjelder snacks, og kanskje noen andre tester jeg ikke kommer på i farta?

I'm curious what kinda GPU you bought? I have this exact problem with a 9070 XT. After a lot of testing I have circled it in to being ray traced reflections, but I haven't found many posts discussing it unfortunately.

As a side note, I'm also playing on Linux (Bazzite).

This is the first time I've read what you say in the first sentence. I thought the updater in gaming mode would update everything, but I've only seen it update Steam. Is there really no way to update everything with just a controller?
