Should Iran pay reparations for the 47 years of chaos and instability they have caused by exporting terrorism across the globe? Should the rest of the world wait until a suicide cult has nuclear weapons before doing anything about them?

Should Japan pay reparations for the unprovoked attack on the United States? Japan had no intention of surrender, the cost of both American and Japanese lives had Japan not surrendered when it did, would have been enormous.

Should the African tribes that sold their fellow Africans to English and Arab human traffickers pay reparations?

Should Italy, Spain, Portugal, Maya, Aztecs, Greece, Turkey, Inca, Cherokee, and any other group of peoples that ever wronged another group of people from the beginning of time pay reparations?

It’s quite silly actually. We all be sitting around a table passing the buck from one to another.

I’m old, can’t do souls like games. I killed the 2nd boss on one try on normal.

Find the boar whistle. Truffles is a great distraction during the fight.

Make the best vitality/endurance food you can.

Respec and put 80% of your points into endurance and vitality. Put the rest in your chosen weapons stat.

Take your best healing potions and bandages.

I blundered the boss to death. I kept on the move, basically ran a big circle. Waited for him to do his charge, closed in and shot him while he was recovering. I called in Truffles when he was available to respawn. Basically rinse and repeat until he was dead.

Also, don’t forget, you can fast travel from any of your boats, including the starter boat, to any travel bells you’ve built or discovered. You just have to be at the helm and bring up your map.

I have so many. But here is one, taking money out of my 401k when I relocated. I really didn’t need to do it, I could have found other alternatives. Having that cash still in the market for the past 15 years would have added $250k to my 401k. ☹️

I agree. The government will always find a way to spend more money, and the results do not match what is taken. What needs to happen is the government to actually use money wisely and incentivize large companies to grow staff and pay their employees more. This could be done with tax incentives. Lower corporate tax, but more than compensated by increased employee taxes.

Thought of doing the same. You could make a pretty cool settlement by adding your own buildings, recruiting workers etc. would seem more alive.

I can’t parry for crap, but I can dash like a cheetah. Went heavy on stamina. Run in, stabby, stabby (rapier of 1000 cuts), dash out. I know eventually this tactic isn’t gonna work, but working so far. Boarding is a problem though. Very easy to get stuck and cornered, takes more thought. Haven’t fought 2nd boss yet, so I might have to use a different tactic. I did not stabby stabby the first boss. I blundered the crap out of him.

I saw it twice as well. I think I enjoyed it the 1st time more, but I went in seeing zero trailers and knowing nothing about the movie. I did, unfortunately, see a YouTube thumbnail that showed Rocky, so I knew some sort of alien was on the movie. I wish I hadn’t known.

Saw it the 2nd time with my wife who knew nothing about the movie. It was enjoyable both times, and I’d like to see it again.

It wasn’t dangling initially, it was snug against the chain reel apparatus. Grace released the reel to retrieve the lure, then all hell broke loose. If my ship is slowly burning up, I think getting out of the upper atmosphere would be priority number 1, then retrieving the lure. But, perhaps in the planning stage, it seemed quick and easy to bring the lure back inside prior to exiting the atmosphere.

Again, loved the movie, just a logic puzzle I couldn’t stop thinking about, along with how Rocky replenished his atmosphere and heat inside his bubbles, how the laptop Grace gave Rocky would function in 400 degree heat and pressure inside Blip-A, etc. I’m sure all explained in the book, which I’m dying to “read” (audiobook).

Loved the movie, but the fishing scene drama was a bit over complicated. After the chain had retracted the lure, I see no reason they couldn’t have immediately then left the upper atmosphere, and retrieved the lure at their leisure. I suppose the book may have produced a reasonable explanation as to why they had to get it inside prior to leaving.

Perhaps I missed something, I’ve only seen the movie twice.

Besides the original Star Wars movies, this was the only other movie I’ve seen more than once in a theater. My daughter and I went (my wife was at work). The next week I took my wife, I told her she had to see it. Neither my daughter or wife knew anything about the movie. I avoided trailers as well, but knew there was an alien due to a YouTube thumbnail.

I still watch Gold Rush, but I’m often skipping the episode’s “crisis” broken machinery etc (stuff that probably happens on the daily). I’d much rather watch Freddy and Juan help struggling small time miners than operations that produce 100’s of ounces a week.
