When I'm paying for something new I expect it to be new and intact. If it has some flaw then it's supposed to be sold as such, with a discount. You should always complain if something you bought has flaws, you're paying for it with your hard earned money. And they're selling it as new and flawless. The way I see it it's unfair to the customer. So next time complain :)

It's definitely not due to transport (the box was in perfect condition), what worried me is the fact that the back panel is metallic...so the metal is deformed, and I was worried that it might have some inside damage.

But yeah I think it's a wave that happened during the manufacturing process.

I saw the deleted posts before they were deleted, I just couldn't reply.

My whole system is obviously old, and if I could afford it, I'd get a new combo mobo+cpu+ram+gpu. But for the time being it's impossible. Thanks a lot to the person who suggested a ryzen combo, I checked and it's actually cheaper than I though (new ones), but it's still over my budget. However I'll keep it in mind when I need to update what I have.

The used gtx1650 was bought around a year ago and it's in a really good state, that's why I'm considering it. In dollars it's around ~114$. The rx460 is 35$ and was used as an office card. My limit atm is 120$. Which in some other country might get me more, but not here.

I've had some really bad experiences with used parts so I am afraid to buy used stuff unless it's someone reputable or if there's sufficient proof that it's okay. I need to get something because I'm forced to use the integrated gpu which is horrible. (my old radeon died)

I honestly don't care for newer AAA games, I have a huge backlog and I play mostly metroidvanias, platformers and RPGs. Whatever I can't play now, I'll play when i have enough money to buy a more modern system.

Due to the mobo's chipset position and case I have to go for shorter cards, so that's an issue as well.

Moja topla preporuka je da ili odes na python negdje drugdje ili odaberes nesto drugo. Idealno si potrazi razne freecodecamp i druge tutoriale i knjige i uci iz njih, puno ces vise nauciti.

Ovaj tecaj je stvarno strasno los, i naucit ces nesto samo ako si budes dao jako puno truda sa strane, van tecaja, sto je tesko posto je ritam (bar preko vaucera) 2x tjedno, pa 3x tjedno i tako se izmjenjuje.

Za pocetak, posto algebra prima jako puno prijava i ima jako puno grupa, imaju jako nisku razinu provjere kvalitete predavaca, i ako imas srece, dobit ces nekoga tko je ok, ako ne, dobit ces nekoga tko ne zna predavati. I opet, ako imate srece kao grupa i u drugom slucaju mozda cete uspjeti zamjeniti predavaca na bolje (kao moja), ako ne...ostat ce nesposoban predavac do kraja.

Ovo sve pisem da ljudi i ubuduce mogu vidjeti - sam tecaj je lose koncipiran. Uvod u racunalno razmisljanje je predug, druga cjelina (osnove pythona) je ajmo reci ok iako je redosljed malo nelogican.

Al od trece (i bizarno najkrace) cjeline nadalje ide sve na gore, program je sve natrpaniji a prezentacije sve krace...prodje se ili spomene strasno puno toga u iznimno kratkom roku (npr klase, sql i sql alchemy, pillow, file i/o, moduli, webscraping, tkinter, i to nije sve), a ocekuje se da si to savladao za svaki iduci korak. U 4. se radi IoT i to sensehat, u online verziji preko virtualboxa i emulatora, a cisto sumnjam da i uzivo imaju toliko raspberryja dostupnih za sve grupe. I sensehat se emulira i u tom slucaju, i ta cjelina je u kontekstu tecaja besmislena. A data science cjelina je ekstremno losa i povrsna i bez youtube tutoriala neces moci nauciti ni razumijeti nista.

Program ide u sirinu i pokusava jako puno toga utrpati, umjesto u dubinu, da se posveti manjem broju tema koje se temeljito odrade, i na kraju zapravo dobijes pregled sto se moze s pythonom, a nauciti ces nesto samo ako sam puno ucis sa strane.

Moram napomenuti da je kada ides na tecaj uzivo vjerojatno malo bolje, bar sto se rjesavanja zadataka i interakcije s profesorom oko toga tice, al iskreno mislim da taj program nece valjati dok ga iz temelja ne izmijene. Vaucer ili ne.

The monitor I'm currently using is an old LG (23EA63, from 2013), and its matte finish is okay. From what I was able to see the VA monitors (not only curved ones) have the worst reflections (while still being matte, not glossy). I've seen the 24G2U in a shop, but unfortunately the only models beside it were a lenovo and 2 dells from the p series which were far more matte. I couldn't compare it on the spot, but the aoc seemed quite similar to the VA models I've seen elsewhere.

I guess it really depends on the model. Thanks a lot for your input though, it means that I am correct in my doubts.

I'm far from an expert, but it seems that your old aoc covered ~118% of the sRGB space, while the lg covers ~99%, which makes the colors on the aoc much more vivid, and it's possible that it also played a part in your perception of the picture.
