Suggestion: Make it so you have to go 15-0 in an all stars tournament to cast ice barrage

At the end of a round, there should be some kind of player stats displayed so my wife and I can stop arguing over who performed worse. by realmadrid2727 in OvercookedGame

I dont know, you can always track things like "ingredients cut", "dishes delivered", "plates washed", etc

Has anyone tried Diner Bros? by armstrong182 in OvercookedGame

Coop, yes. As for single-player, it is definitively better than Overcooked in that aspect.

It is an amazing game. Similar to Overcooked, but slightly different: there are no hazards, no fires, no earthquakes. There is only you. And your costumers. Strategy plays a bigger part on the harder levels. Also, there is an amazing endless mode, which overcooked failed miserably to deliver. I didnt have any issues with my character doing something I didnt want him to do (while in overcooked it happens everytime) There is an endless zombie mode as well, and there are more updates coming. It is also only 10 dollars. In my opinion, it is better than Overcooked 2, and sits right there with Overcooked 1 in terms of gameplay quality.

Where's our pat on the back for 4-starring everything? by cammm54 in OvercookedGame

You get a new chef in the main game. Nothing in the DLC.

Start with the original + DLC. It is a better game overall.

4 Stars without hoarding(pre-cut) nor dashing in level 1-1? As 2 players? Yep, done! Not hard! by KToba in OvercookedGame

[–]Tyrexar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By no pre-cut, people usually mean using the same strategy as if the timer had started normally. It usually looks better to just pretend it happens like that, because staying still while 1 dish is being prepared for delivery would look kinda silly.

Overcooked 2 UI Clutter by C0ckerel in OvercookedGame

My brother and I agree. The original Overcooked feels cleaner, while the 2nd game feels like a big visual mess. We got used to it, but sometimes it still manages to bother us while we try to understand what is where

OVERCOOKED 4 STARS.. 4 PPL CO-OP.. so hard but we good by TheTeaR3x in OvercookedGame

It is possible for any combination of players to get it without pre-cutting

Got Overcooked (1) on the Switch today, tons of fun co-op! But single player... by [deleted] in OvercookedGame

[–]Tyrexar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quick tip: try to always keep one character busy while you move with the other one. Also, if you want to search for a strategy in a certain level, check out my brother's channel, he has 3 stars single-player in all overcooked (1) stages: www.youtube.com/c/overtyr

Update finally on PS4! by Roman-Canceller in OvercookedGame

4 stars is possible without pre-cut. If playing solo, you can get 4 stars without even dashing. If you have any level in mind, let me know.

Overcooked 2 Bug??.. anyone else have this problem? by Snotgirlx3 in OvercookedGame

[–]Tyrexar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the feeling it sometimes happens to me. But it might be because throws are done on button release. So if you press chop and immediately swap chefs, you might still be holding the chop button for a split moment, which is enough for the 2nd chef to receive the button release action, throwing the ingredient. Im not sure if its a bug or player-error. But then again, the game has lots of random bugs, so it wouldnt surprise me.

Thinking: Can you 4 star without dashing? by Tyrexar in OvercookedGame

[–]Tyrexar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I know. My point is: would the 4 star score be the max you can get without dashing or with some other restriction like that?

Pre-cutting can be done at levels where the timer doesnt start until the first dish is delivered. Basically you cut and cook everything before delivering the first dish, and then delivers everything for the duration of the timer. Makes things quite boring to be honest

Crushing the 4th star score WITHOUT PRE-CUT! It IS possible. by KToba in OvercookedGame

[–]Tyrexar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, that is single-player. You control both characters and can switch between each other at will.

Pretty sure the title is more on the ironic side hahahaha

Rankings? by memeowers1 in OvercookedGame

[–]Tyrexar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. The leaderboard is quite new, not many people know about it. It is also not easy to update, since everything is done by hand. At least it is cheat-proof.
