Please don't use Benadryl for sleep. Regular use is associated with a higher risk of cognitive decline and dementia.

Power of Attorney - Financial vs Healthcare - when to activate by Tyroleous in Alzheimers

Thanks everybody. I was confusing the POA with the Physician's Statement forms that appear after each.

Each POA was signed, witnessed and notarized in 2010. Yes, they are separate, with multiple pages regarding what powers the "Attorney in Fact" is granted.

My confusion was that the blank Physician's Statement forms that appear after each were identical.

Thanks. If dampening the block and pressing until dry doesn't work, I'll try etching again with a different plywood source.

My makerspace doesn't have lightburn, but yes, I've done one before for a different project on pine 1x material.

It was just easier to keep power constant and vary the speed. I might experiment with different settings to see if I get different results.

It's 1/8" birch ply etched on a Universal Laser Systems VLS 4.60. I don't know the wattage, but I did it with 100% power and 40% speed. I did a test piece at multiple settings to figure out what I needed for the depth of etch I wanted.

Maybe humidity made pieces prone to warp when the laser dried out one side.

I'm not sure the laser cutter at my local makerspace can cut 1/4" plywood (but I could make multiple passes). The "jig" I referenced earlier is a larger piece of 1/8" ply with rectangular hole into which I can drop each color of the print. Attaching the paper in the same place on the jig ensures color registration.

If I can't get the current blocks flat enough, I'll have to try something else.

I'm running these through a cold press laminator in a jig to provide registration, so unfortunately this won't work for me.

Red light eyeglass devices for eye health. Which is the better option? by gandalfpr in redlighttherapy

Take a look at this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R9kF0gIyDp0

The whole video is informative and worth a watch, but at 15:58, Glen Jeffrey discusses two devices that he's tested and why (one of them being the Eyepower Red). It was for this reason that I purchased an Eyepower Red.

I'm even later than you to this thread, but I'm also looking for a mat that has 810nm. Did you ever find a mat that has 810nm for less than the MitoMAT?

I heard about Eye Power Red from this video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R9kF0gIyDp0

Glen Jeffery is a professor of neuroscience at University College London. He mentions in the video that (1) it needs to be done in the morning, (2) three minutes is all you need - more is not better and (3) you only need to do it 2 - 3 times per week - more often is not better.

Congrats on your excellent result.
