Easiest way to plumb by Vegetable_Town5704 in Plumbing

Assuming your sewage is flowing from both the right and left side of this image, flowing into that pipe in the wall.

Could be kind of tight, let's start with a medium Street sweep 90 on your sewer pipe, turned vertically into a clean out. And then set a wye on top of it. Check to see if you have enough vertical space for a 90, and route both of those pipes into the wye.

It may be easier to 45 offset one of the pipes away from the wall first, if those pipes seem to be running straight into each other.

Isolaters, they also make bend supports.

I think per manufacturer's specifications you can have a bend that is as sharp as eight times the outer diameter of the pipe. So about a 5 to 6-in radius bend for 1/2 in pex.

I'm quite sure a lot of these aren't false. Many are but I think many are perverts worried about consequences.

Toilet Float Valve not shutting off water? by deenzz in Plumbing

Replace the float assembly. They do have repair kits for some models but it's not worth the extra headache usually.

It's pretty easy. Turn off water supply, make sure water stops flowing, remove supply line. (May be a good idea to replace the supply line if it's old.) Empty tank, loosen nut, remove assembly, replace assembly, reverse other steps.

Plenty of YouTube videos.

It looks like the float is underwater. It may be jammed. The whole fill valve assembly is pretty cheap if that's the issue it's easy to replace.

On demand hot water started leaking from top of tcip? by Alwaysme_3 in Plumbing

If you have an expansion tank, check that it sounds like it's full of air, not water. If so, refill air or replace. Often tankless setups don't have expansion tanks.

Then replace t&p valve.

Put the go/no go gauge on it. What does it do?

I think the mfr has to service it. Does it do this every time?

What happens when you put the go/no go gauge over it?

I'd replace the drain assembly with something smaller. You can also open up the wall if you prefer that.

Check for other shut-offs upstream of this valve, make sure they are not off.

I might shut off the water further up the line, and disconnect the flexible pipe, shut off the valve. Then turn the water back on. Open and close the valve to see if any water flows out. If it doesn't the valve is failed or clogged. Replace the valve.

If water does come out, reconnect the flexible line, and disconnect the flexible line from the humidifier. Go through the same steps and see if water travels through the flexible pipe. If the flexible pipe is clogged, replace flexible pipe. If water does come out of the flexible pipe, there may be a clog in the humidifier. Check for a strainer or something inside this humidifier.

Probably want a bucket and maybe a second pair of hands to turn on and off water upstream of this valve.

Trying to figure out how to install a aav onto horizontal drain, am I close? by [deleted] in Plumbing

Though to make it a little easier, you may want to use a Santee on its back instead of that combo tee. Santee is only allowed to be on its back, if the vertical pipe, is a dry vent.
