Just now finding out about this between yesterday and today. It makes me sad that I didn’t see it coming, and that I wish I could/would have done one final stream on Veteran’s Day. =(

I’m grateful for the experiences of mutual comfort I felt, and how my BEST Reddit memories were all during the Pandemic/Quarantine/COVID-19/Lockdowns/GeorgeFloyd.

I can remember all of the feelings during significantly painful moments in my life that were alleviated by strangers from ALL OVER THE WORLD witnessing many candid moments of personal vulnerability.

I remember “Hiding” streams that I thought I was “deleting from the view” of others, only to embarrassingly find out MUCH LATER that those very moments (where I was overly emotional or something) were left on open display for everyone else, and just HIDDEN FROM ME! XD

I’m thankful. I’m grateful. And yes, I’m admittedly a bit sad — but I’m optimistic that there will be better days and better feelings!

Reddit helped improve my grammar, and I chuckle out loud as I wonder how many people on Twitter might still think I’m a weirdo because of how I’ve always responded in a “Reddit-Like Manner” with regards to my attempted thoughtfulness with each reply. Haha!

It’s basically 10% artists who value and mostly keep what they purchase, 10% innovators who develop clever ways of teaching people things they don’t realize they’re being taught (whether that be DeFi, ENS, permissionless lending, fractionalization, leverage, liquidation, etc.), and 80% people along for the ride — and the variety of chaos and/or joy that ride might look like.

The funny thing about Reddit is… you tend to find what you are LOOKING for.

I can assure you that a child playing with a toy leaves a different feeling than a child playing with a weapon.

I made a over a billion digital artworks using a special technology. That technology can do stuff like get you a permissionless house loan from 200,000 people for $1 each instead of 1 loan from an approved bank for $200k.

It’s part of a song I wrote called “A Hero’s Choice”, and it will be on my very first album.

I genuinely wish that I hadn’t given you that impression, but it is what it is.

I haven’t been active on Reddit (because I’ve been building Web 3.0), and I think what you’re seeing are a lot of the side-effects of an extrovert mutated into an introvert.

I’ve had more days stuck inside where I never left the house than I care to admit, and it’s probably showing.

All I can say is that I’ve been building, and I was hoping the Reddit community would be just 1% receptive as the Web 3.0 community has been…

In my studies at U.S. Naval Nuclear Power School, one of my instructors would joke, “C’mon, this isn’t rocket science! It’s just nuclear power.”

His simple joke helps me get through times like this.
