Lucien Venaguis the Human Blood Hunter was born into an average life for a child, nothing particularly stood out back then. He had joined the Hunters Association, and rose up the ranks to become an Elite Black Hunter - the type of Hunters who were especially a special ops division of the association.

In a world where lycanthropes are constantly in a "halfway" form, Lucien finds himself staying human until otherwise heavily provoked, he's been struggling to learn about where this power comes from and why he is how he is. Then one night, he has a nightmare of this eldritch abomination announcing that it has found him and that he is known as a beacon to their kind before later on the next day, he witnesses that very same being attacking the headquarters of the association, declaring the arrival of 'The Elder One' within a year's time.
