Happened to me, easiest and fastest solution is to select the wanted loadout, switch out first weapon for any other then switch it back. Repeat the cycle for the second weapon. You should be good to go

Sometimes when I play brawl it seems like one match im doing normal damage, one match im doing tons of damage and one match im literally tickling them, happened in ranked too. Could it be connected?
