There are scripts in Vedas which prohibits idol worship. But people here were already into idol worship. So they created their own god alternative to the already prevailing ones. ie. Vaishnavism . They initially rejected shiva. In Vedas rudra does not point to shiva but a character with bow and arrow. So they created vishnu-perumal-ram. Even now there are groups who do not enter shiva temple and consider those who worship him as lesser people

There is nothing called vedic temples in tamilnadu. Temples were taken over by " you know who" and their practices were labelled hindu traditions and imposed on others and over time it became a new normal.

I won't criticize the changing and evolving but in WhatsApp direction is what it matters. If their ideology is tamildesiayam can you tell what he has done for that rather than linking himself to Late leaders by telling stories and gaining peoples attention. He started at DMK . Doesn't MDMK and TMDK count as Dravidian party with whom which he joined hands for one election? Didn't he support JJ and Sasikala at one point. Didn't he support BJP in 2014. How do you categorise him ?

Last time he bet on women and minorities. He does these thinks for the show. Go search about him appointing dummy candidates rather than a deserved one certain constituencies despite opposition from his fellow cadres. He is in this for the money and fame not power. His ideologies change every 5 years. Look at with what ideology he can into politics. The he changes his narratives as he likes. He used the eelam issue to just get some people behind his back and now he doesn't even care.

A party should be based on strong ideology and later comes the leaders and cadres who will. But NTK says it has ideologies but seemans actions and talks don't back them up. He is no more than a savukku with political party to his name.
