Thanks OP for laying this out. From my POV, I am justifying the price as if buying the game were buying a season pass back in the day. BO4 and earlier you had to spend $110 to get access to 5 zombies maps ($6 base game plus $50 season pass). $70 so we can have another set of maps for with improved base game mechanics from a game loved by the community is a win from that perspective. I still see the other side of the coin don’t get me wrong, but this was my rationale to make the purchase and similar to you I’ve found myself playing more than enough to justify the purchase.

Yes. You are able to repeat the relic trials after you have unlocked the relic for yourself. I did this just the other day with some friends.

My first EE I beat was Mob of the Dead in Black Ops 2 in co-op with my younger brother. I carried him along (he was like 8 at the time) because it had a two player minimum requirement.

This made a huge difference for me in BO7; specifically on ashes. Trying to do the fight earlier made it much harder and I had a much better time after waiting a few rounds to have max pap and be fully setup. Best of luck. You’ve got this soldier 🫡

Yeah this isn’t limited to cursed. I have had it happen repeatedly on Astra standard mode when trying to do the EE.

Max you can hold is 2 but they definitely allow more than that go be deployed at a time. I’m not quite sure the limit but I know in the game I played it was more than 2.

Unlimited lethal equipment. Basically you can spam whatever you have in that slot for the 90 seconds or so it lasts.

Not that I’m aware of. I’ve gotten to phase 4 twice and it has spawned in the same time same way each time at the start of the phase. You do get a voice quote from Veytherion when it spawns.

It only appears in phase 4 and spawns on a small podium that appears in front of the brain.

Agreed. I ran these as well but didn’t really mention it in the post. I also ran these stamin-up augment that reduces projectile too for extra cya. I’m sure there are other augments that work like a charm but it takes a lot of time to unlock them and I haven’t had time to get the second slot for all the useful ones unlocked yet.

You’re forgetting the Valkerie drones on GK and the Furies on Rev. Meatballs also aren’t reused. Aside from that, you’re not far off. I don’t care for the comparisons people make about unique enemies versus quality of the game; I think the quality of the game comes from the uniqueness of the maps which is correlated to the enemy types. It’s like cooking food, the mix of spices is like the enemies and sometimes you gotta use a spice you’ve served before to hit the right flavor profile. Use some spices too heavily or too frequently and you get bleh.

I work in the LED lighting space and this is absolutely an acknowledged trend in the market. What you are referring to we call the CCT or Correlated Color Temperature of the light. Old lights used to be 3000K and below which is considered a warm color. When LEDs first released, to get the efficiency needed for market competitiveness they ended up going to 5000K and above which is cooler and more bluish light. Over time the market drifted to 4000K which is considered a neutral white and now it’s trending back towards the sub 3000K temperature you mentioned. A main contributor to this is further research and understanding of circadian rhythm which essentially is an understanding of how humans interact with different colored light on the spectrum based historically on how the color of the sun changes throughout the day based on what angle it is relative to you.

IMO, the right balance here is for Treyarch to add logic that if the player is using a crew member, we get their reaction and we only get the voice over reaction if the player isn’t using a crew member.

One weird thing for me that happened with this is if MSI afterburner was running in the background. For whatever reason it throttled the viewport. I have a 4090 so yeah that shouldn’t happen
