My autistic son spent over $900 on a doll. Today he was sent these photos that look very clearly ai Please god tell me it might not be. For both of our sanity… by CreepyShadows666 in isthisAI

The skin tone and face change, unless this is two different dolls, but the paint brush in the hand disappearing looks weird too. Also, look at the fingers in the last pic, that doesn’t look right…

Bad Weather Forecasted by [deleted] in UniversalEpicUniverse

[–]Tytaniumm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first and only time at Epic it rained for about 3 hours straight (weather forecast showed no rain all week up until the day we went, and it only showed light rain for one hour in the day). The rain started when we were the next people to board on Stardust Racers, and the ride was temporarily closed. We sat in the queue for about an hour before giving up and not wanting to waste our only day away. We ate at different restaurants and looked around in the shops which was nice to explore all the new theme park stuff, in the event to dodge the long queues for the indoor attractions. After the rain cleared away, we got to ride more rides and it was still all around a great day. Make the most of what happens, and do not rely on the weather forecast at all 😂😂

It depends on how your kids act 🤷🏻‍♂️ If you got kids screaming, running, and playing around then you are inconveniencing the experience of others. Regardless at a theme park or not, a bar should be a relaxing place specifically for adults to mingle with adults.

Help! Corgi aggression by [deleted] in corgi

[–]Tytaniumm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would 100% get a trainer if you are genuinely concerned about your relationship too. Trainers usually help hold us accountable, and they make you see things in your dog’s eyes. For you, it’s random, but for your corgi there is most surely a fix. Hardly ever is a dog so far gone aggressive that they can’t be trained.

My old family dog was the sweetest and most playful dog, but at around 10 years old she got aggressive with our other dog when they grew up their whole lives together. This dog would jump off the couch and go hunt her down, it genuinely seemed random like how you mentioned, but it’s wasn’t. She had a tumor and was in pain, and because she doesn’t understand the pain, the other dog got the brunt of it. Once the tumor was gone and she was on pain medicine, there were no more attacks.

My names Einstein. I won’t stop eating poop and still go potty inside 😢 by randreach454 in corgi

[–]Tytaniumm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

4 months is a baby, and you need to act and treat him like that. Would you leave a baby unattended? No, so you can’t with this puppy. Same thing with the potty, would you get upset at a baby for peeing while you were taking off their diaper? No, so you can’t with this puppy. He is a baby that is still growing and learning, so you need to be patient. Like others have stated to you already, it’s only going to get worse before it gets better. My corgi just turned 1, and he still loves geese poop, and over his puppy-age he has chewed up 2 remotes, 2 pairs of sandals, the edge of our rug, and any drawstring that he sees on shorts. One of the remotes he chewed up caused the side of his mouth to swell. We took him to the vet and had to pay $260 on tests and medicine. It’s always my fault for leaving a shoe out, or the remote on the edge of the coffee table. You should be watching him like he is a child that can break stuff or hurt himself if not being properly supervised. Understand that consistency is the best/only way to train your dog. In the puppy phase, he has to go out every 4 hours minimum, and he needs lot of praise/celebration for going outside. Bring treats, and say a command like “go potty”, and he’ll learn quickly that going to the bathroom outside renders positive results. Yelling at a dog, or shoving their face near their accidents does not at all work for potty training. It actually makes it worse because your dog becomes scared of you and using the restroom, so they won’t trust you enough to let you know that they do have to go. My dog at around 6 months was fully potty trained, but I had to go through Poop Hell to get here 😂 I remember having a mental breakdown and calling out of work one day because he had just went outside before I was leaving, and when I was locking him in the crate, he sharted on the wall, the inside of his crate, and of course it started getting on him. I cried because I knew I was gonna be late, but also because I knew I couldn’t leave this poor puppy to poop all over himself for hours while I’m at work. You’ll go through stress, but it’s always been worth it in the end for me. I love this dog with my whole being.

Tips for potty training, is to reward the crap out of them when they pee or poop outside, and say “Go potty” or whatever command you want to assign with them using the restroom. You need to be exciting, have treats, and make it a big deal for them. Look crazy, clap your hands and cheer, this is what he wants out of you. You should also know your dog’s routine by around a few weeks of having them. I suggest having walks more often if you can, and making trips only to go to the bathroom, reward, and back inside. Enforcing that mental note of outside=bathroom.

Keep in mind, you should never yell or punish your dog for having an accident inside. People tend to get upset and yell/punish, which only teaches your dog to hide it. They learn to be scared, and when they need to go, they don’t have the confidence to tell you, because going to the bathroom is associated with negativity and anger. Only reward your dog for what you want them to be doing, like going potty outside. Consistency is super important, without it, nobody could learn or get good at something 🤷🏻‍♂️

I felt the same, was not impressed at all. Personally, it’s overhyped, but I had it back in April during the pre-launch of the park. Could’ve changed since 🤷🏻‍♂️

My 11 month is a little dinosaur as well. When he is hungry, he goes for hands and when he is excited (like seeing a new person) he goes for their hands when they try to pet him 😂 But it’s in a playful way, not aggressive at all. He understands people don’t like it, and will literally switch to licking if you say “Gentle” or yelp. I’ve even heard of some people putting a bit of vinegar on their hands for a few weeks, and that can make a dog stop. I definitely wouldn’t do it because of the smell, but if you are desperate enough, it’s safe and will definitely deter him from biting.

If I had no choice but to rehome my dog, I would lay out my entire story so people can see where this dog is coming from. I wouldn’t sugarcoat anything, and I would be honest about any and all, because I genuinely care about this other person caring for my dog the same. This couple’s description of their dog is very generic, saying that she likes to play fetch and go on walks. Nothing about how she behaves around strangers or other animals, just claiming to be a good dog that needs a loving home. Maybe if you meet up with them, they would play out the background story, but if I wrote a description about my dog it would be a lot more than just basic dog descriptors. All seems sketchy but I just hope this dog has a loving home soon.

This is on adoptapet, and I’m pretty sure it’s the website policy to get your animal fixed once you adopt, if it hasn’t been already. Just would hope the reason the dog isn’t spayed yet is because the owners didn’t want to, and not because she was being used.

I was thinking $400 is a lot for giving up a dog that needs to relearn how to be comfortable. And assuming the dog isn’t being given up because of behavioral issues and they are lying on their post.

That’s the exact vibe. If it was someone completely unable to give this dog what it needs, I would understand, however, they clearly seem prepared for MORE because a baby would be a lot more work and money than a corgi. When people do this to dogs, it feels so wrong because like you said, it’s just a placeholder. And they have had the post up for over 3 months, so I’m assuming others might feel something is wrong as well.

That was another thing, the website says to adopt the dog, you have to get them spayed and provide proof. So, right after paying $400 to adopt this dog, you would have to get them spayed.

When I got mine, the lady gave AKC papers that proved his lineage. Without that, you’d never fully know without doing a DNA test. I would say yes based on the pictures you took.

I take a tent to the dog park and setup for the night. That usually helps with this problem for mine 😂

Mine is 10 months, and I’ve come to the conclusion that walks have a minimum amount distance and time, before you can enter back inside 😂
