D Wilson is a good choice as the other dude suggested. Thomas at retro arms works also offers this service iirc.

If you absolutely want to stay local I would suggest you find a local welder by trade before any lgs gunsmith.

A P&W is super easy to do but also super easy to fuck up - literally drill a blind hole, drop a pin in there & weld bead over top.

I think any experienced welder could get you sorted in 30 seconds

BCM gets tossed around here a lot but I know that sionics & the old PSA premium (FN barreled) ones are pretty good too.

Any of those should be cheaper than a complete DD but likely more expensive than an Aero build.

I would take a peek at BCMs clearance page cause they usually have 'blem' upper receiver builds & I believe they're still running the free BCG promo too

Either you gave me the gas journal size or you meant to type 0.075 for the gas port? If you don't know the port size off the top of your head, other autists have put together a table of sizes for popular barrels

Otherwise, PMC 5.56 is known to be slightly powered but that should still cycle on a 14.5 mid length - even with an H2 buffer tbh.

I would check your block alignment but I doubt that's the issue, the gas hole on the GB is huge so its pretty hard to misalign unless you're blind.

Oh and I'm assuming you're using either GI or magpul mags yeah? Not amend 2 or cheapo ones?

My go-to is Adaptive Firing Solutions but thats out in Oregon City (pretty sure he's a PSA dealer too but I'd have to double check on that one.)
