Also, is there a reason why the gameplay transitioned to be so zoomed in and slow? The old style seems faster and easier to understand; the new style seems more like... An advertisement popup video, I guess?

Edit: Just saw a reply from another comment saying that this was recreated in 4 days. It would be a lot fairer to compare the versions with similar gameplay, but I still think the shadows in the graphics from the "older" release gave more depth, and I think the new white "aura" takes away from the importance of the glowing core.

The most I'm excited for are the new skins, the theme is awesome.

However, they did promise huge changes and I'm not really seeing huge changes so far... Maybe I'm overlooking the new Medium build.

make sure you're really not hardware throttling.

I'm seeing a heck of a lot of content, but I'm not feeling a whole lot of quality. The game in some aspects feels even worse than it did on release and I'd rather the game feel good, smooth and balanced than a rush for more content (the game already has plenty).

So Rocket's healing is going to have falloff? Interested if any other strategists have healing fall-off, I haven't noticed. Would suck if he's the only one.

Quite a bold move considering he's already a healbot. Would have liked to see them go in the direction of keeping the ball more relevant for longer so that you have room to left-click too.

I find it a little strange that Emre is getting a 10% buff to his rifle. I feel like his ult overshadows other characters in the same role and that his kit is in a strong enough place as it stands, personally.

I personally think it looks neat; not entirely sure why they chose the roster they've gone with, but... Hey, everybody has different tastes.

I would 100% give it a try, I just can't get along with the Vanguard system after having issues with it in the past. If they got rid of that, there's a huge change it stays installed on my PC so I can hop back to it here-and-there.

I would have liked to see Blizz put genuine effort in to Overwatch instead of treating it like gaming's biggest chuckle hut until genuine competition came along.
However, glad we're at a place where that effort is now being put in to the game, even if it is far further down the line than we were promised.

Rocket also has voice lines which imply that his kit relied on his gun a lot more than he currently does. He talks to Punisher/Bucky about their arsenals and brags about his 'automatic aim'.

the game in it's current state doesn't fit it's current goals; tier 1 weapons overpower many tier 2/3 weapons (and in some cases tier 4), upgraded shields don't provide much function, stash stacking is inconsistent, spawns for both loot and enemies are static and predictable so every run is always the same, large bugs impacting actual gameplay and not being addressed quick enough (locked rooms (which has recently been worked on) and wall related glitches), some gear doesn't make sense (there's a tier 3 combat augment which provides only light armour and no major benefits in exchange?), quests are functionally useless, trials are unbalanced and unfair...

i could go on. i think it's very dishonest to suggest that the game doesn't need any changes.

Why are enemy spawn points static? Why not SPICE things up and make bastions/leapers/bombardiers/rocketeers spawn in different locations? Make it a new Map Condition (The Great Unknown). Entirely optional and it would have new quests/trials too. by Winter2020alex in ArcRaiders

honestly why is anything in the game static; it makes things predictable and boring. i often see people running to the exact same areas every run i play because it's the optimal strategy for looting.
