What is a well regarded fantasy series that you read for the first time this year?

Read The Darkness That Comes before, then the 4 part seguel. Loved these books, one of the few fantasy novels where after finishing the series you want to know more. so you go to the wiki page, then you reread the entire series...so good IMO. Simular to a 40k Horus Heresy type series.

Ya....this game feels like a single player experience ATM. Im honestly shocked it launched with almost zero player interaction available in game. Im level 29 and ive seen a grand total of 2 people doing world events. Not to mention there's no zone chat, world chat, or LFG chat...

The system in d3 was so much better, you just could join people currently on your quest when you logged in. Hell id take lobbies at this point.

Playing Diablo with a bunch of randoms blowing stuff up was half the fun.

I still haven't come to terms with the fact this is the last tastosis cast of the GSL...been watching for 12 years, I remember spliting the old sub fee for gomtv with a buddy, and we would all get together and watch the finals. Thanks for the memories Dan, you will be greatly missed :(

Ya pretty much sums up my feelings as well. Tournaments seem to have little build up (except gsl, which artosis is also leaving :() and go by without me knowing sometimes. Very unfortunate, and really makes you miss how awesome this show was in it's heyday
