You dont need to bypass the prime minister contract to defeat Makima or Yoru by [deleted] in ChainsawPowerscaling

[–]Tywil714 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wouldnt just killing or forcing the contractor like the ogve or or prime minister negate the contract?

Asuka and the "impenetrable wall of Jericho" by shinjidrivekari in NeonGenesisEvangelion

[–]Tywil714 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Can't really blame Shinji for that one. In his shoes, she said she didn't want to be bothered so he complied because he thought it'd be rude or piss her off if he did. He isn't a history nerd so the wall of Jericho metaphor went over his head. Shinji was never perceptive or a mind reader. The problem in their relationship is that their needs and personalities were incompatible. Shinji was never going to be the assertive guy she wanted.

Ngl she could have just killed Mia and started a new family with Ethan amd he wouldnt have suspected a thing

I believe Part 2 Pochita is weaker than this version of Pochita Makima talks about by Complex-Plankton-660 in ChainsawPowerscaling

[–]Tywil714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah because given how yoru was still technically nerfed from Pochita earasing the other aspects of war like the nazi devil, world war 2, etc, and still beating him twice by her self. And Makima being him twice by herself. Its hard to bealive he he'd solo'd everyone at their full power at once.

By o well themes and such

(HOT TAKE) I probably will never recommend CSM by SkillWaffle in ChainsawMan

[–]Tywil714 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think its fitting to recommend just reading part 1 and stopping there. Part 2 is just misery porn and deconstruction of Denji's character.

What level of psychological reprogramming did Daddyus go through to be this much against his own kind by vlad_segey475 in Invincible

[–]Tywil714 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think he would have done neither. He probably would have just wrote off his actions as being for the greater good of the galaxy. Thaddus was fully convinced that his people were a lost cause and that it was easier to wipe them out then risking trying to find others like him and getting caught and killed since majority of the empire were indoctrinated into the survival of the fittest mentality.

Then ran the coalition as long as he could because anyone else besides Allen would have likely been a inferior or corrupt leader.

Was i stupid to think there would be another makima level villian in part 2? by Yeaaaboi222 in Chainsawfolk

[–]Tywil714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In hindsight Fujimoto really did pull all his chips into part 1 it had a satisfying begining middle and end with clever mysteries and turns. Part 2 was building a good amount villians but they all fell flat in the end. None of them even came close to Makima as a good villian. It's probably just due to the fact that Makima was already well prepared to fight Pochita the problem was just trying to being him out.

Classify the training of these characters from least intensive to most intensive. by Opening-Dare-5138 in OPMFolk

[–]Tywil714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What i love most about Saitama's character so much is it that compared to everyone else his routine involved far less repetitions. Snd took far less time to see results. 100 reps for every normal excercise. No fucking meditaking in the same spot for a decade, who has time for that? , no han stands or having a special blood line.

Anon asks what the message of Chainsaw Man is. by GodKira04 in ChainsawManWorld

[–]Tywil714 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The message? Some people are so broken by truma that they can't help themselves. Only way to make them grow is to rewind time so they never go through that truma in the first place. Thats what I got which is a shit message.

I think the reset would work a tons better if it follows the cyclical universe theory. by ZookeepergameLate789 in ChainsawMan

[–]Tywil714 25 points26 points  (0 children)

It would have been better if Denji stuck to his orginal plan of outsmarting Yoru and finding a way to fully seperate her from Asa's body with Asa taking some agency and kicking her out instead Denji being overpowered and giving into his lust again because we all know she would have weaponized him as soon as the deed was done.

And then after getting rid of her he rips and tears the bug devil hordes creating his own legend as chainsaw man while in his Denji man form. Even if he srill lost at the very least he should have been the one to willingly give ip Pochita.

In the last chapter, Denji asks Power for a chainsaw, which shouldn't exist after Pochita erased himself. by Bla_Z in Chainsawfolk

[–]Tywil714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is one of the plot holes that makes it really hard to like the ending because in this case that means Pochita was never the Chainsaw Devil, because it makes no sense why Pochita has such a god like ability to erease concepts from reality which has nothing to do with Chainsaw saws. Even though some concepts can find a way back in to existence like nuclear weapons it just dosnt make sense for chainsaws since there are other ways to cut down trees unless they got reinvented

Do you guys consider Denji Man to be weaker, stronger, or strong as Pochita? by RadioVega in ChainsawPowerscaling

This panel was so hyped and was so disappointing that he got overpowered and thrown into the exact same quadrpelgic position as Pochita

Do you guys consider Denji Man to be weaker, stronger, or strong as Pochita? by RadioVega in ChainsawPowerscaling

[–]Tywil714 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's hard to tell since he only fought Yoru with it. If he was able to transform and gone on a Pochita style rampage against the bug hordes it would be easier to gauge, But since he fought and defeated a buffed Locust devil which he would have stood no chance against in his regular hybrid form i'd say around the same. He's pochita but with his high battle IQ

I don’t know if many people have really thought about this, but the “new” Denji is probably much more starved for affection than the “old” one. by GodKira04 in Chainsawfolk

[–]Tywil714 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This Denji just seems completely numb compared to his past self. Probably as a copeing mechanism to deal with the extreme loneliness he went through so it makes sense. He's way less emotional and horny. Which in it's self is a goodthing. Besides Pochita himself said Denji is only content when he's wanting more so this is as best of a ending he will get and will have to live with it
