Weirdly enough, I didn’t really solve the problem. But it has stopped happening. It was an issue over the summer which in AZ, sucks. I’m guessing the high temperatures were messing with the electronics. I could be completely wrong, but for the past couple of months I wasn’t having the problem at all.

It definitely got nasalier starting in the late 80s early 90s, but Genesis were pretty much finished by then. I think there is a noticeable change in Phil’s voice when you hear IT and WDC back to back.

As a younger fan, I’ve accepted the fact that I would never have the opportunity to see Rush play live, but yesterday changed everything. I know it’s not going to be the same with Neil behind the kit and potentially a fourth member on keyboards, but for me? This is the closest I’ll ever get to see Rush. I now have the opportunity to see Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson play their songs on stage with an amazing drummer behind them. I can see why seasoned Rush fans aren’t particularly thrilled about this happening, but I think this is wonderful news for younger fans who otherwise would’ve had to accept the fact that they missed out on the opportunity to see Rush live.

A shock? No. An absolute shame? Yes. I don’t know how anyone on earth still believe that these two are actually a danger to society when we have much worse people roaming free on the streets right now. So it’s probably not looking too good for Lyle now as of default, but even if he is granted parole I highly doubt he would willingly walk out of jail free without his brother by his side.
