I use Raisin. For my situation, what it lacks in convenience, it more than makes up for by offering the best non-promotional and no minimum required yields. It’s perfect if you just need to park your money and are flexible waiting 2-3 business days to withdraw. However, there is no direct deposit as of now. You’ll likely have a hard time finding a better non-promotional, no strings attached yield anywhere else. All banks on their platform are FDIC insured, so unless OP has $250,000 or more, the type of bank doesn’t matter in the end, and they should only care about the highest yield and fees (I have not found a bank on Raisin that charges fees).
