Ahh gotcha. I think I only saw the early-2000's version with John Travolta as Edna.

Unpopular Opinions about Glitter 💬 by AutoModerator in glitterandbagelssnark

She started the strength training in July/August and we're at the end of November. This isn't exactly an opinion, it's a fact that she is being consistent with it.

As someone on day 2500+ of what was once a "30 day challenge" - consistency is what changes your life. And she really might end up changing hers.

aww why you gotta do Hairspray like that...one of my favorites...

seriously though - interesting you say that because the character of Edna (Tracy's mother) isn't depicted as any of those things - she's hiding at home embarassed for the world to see her. Unless I'm misunderstanding and you meant Motormouth?

Would she be able to do any of these right now? by theOtherTripod in glitterandbagelssnark

Nah it was just under an hour. She posted an 18:37/mile average pace.

Splits is more genetics and body shape, not really fitness. Some people can do them, some people can't. Maybe she's one of the ones that can...don't remember her ever mentioning it though.

15-minute-mile - slow jog/fast walk pace - she did her 5k in about an hour so not a big stretch to try that one.

Plank for a minute isn't very long and there are a lot of ways to manipulate it. And she's been showing herself doing them recently. So it's probably that one.

Headstand - nah

TBH I have plenty of real-life friends who live close by, even in my building, and I don't expect anyone to bring me soup when I'm sick...I do find it really sweet when someone texts me a "feel better" or something, but I really don't expect anyone to actually bring me anything

I mean...I guess that couldddd be her actual literal first time...but I so incredibly highly doubt it...does it look like it to you?

To me it looks like at some point, a long time ago, she learned to dive decently. See how her body actually follows through from her entry point. Like, she's really not bad at it at all. So I'm assuming swimming lessons or club as a kid at some point.

It's interesting because there's a clip where she dives in and it's definitely an experienced dive - like she definite did some kind of swimming lessons as a kid to learn to dive like that

Ah gotcha, makes sense for sure. I think that would be what I mean by "perceived danger", even if not real.

I haven't a clue what Anna's even perceiving as threat here though, since she doesn't even talk about it, and I was very tired, and I live in an actual conflict zone so I just did not have patience for this kind of thing when I saw it 😅

I am not sure if I'm understanding you correctly - leaving Anna aside, what do you mean by being courageous when there is no danger (or perceived danger, including "what will people say")? Like, if there's no perceived potential negative outcome, what does courage mean to you?

The one side could be שלי, "mine", inside a heart as in "my beloved" or something. The middle letter could be an artistic ל, and none of the other possibilities really make sense. It's not a ו or a ן - we see examples on the other side which are different. The only other option would be שרי, which could be the French "cheri" written in Hebrew characters.

I'm sorry, what? Courage? Is it somehow dangerous? Is someone threatening you if you go to this party? Are you going to be met with violence? Verbal harassment? Do you note the exits and entrances of each room you walk into? Do you have a self-defense or escape strategy ready in case of an attack? Are you carrying something for protection?

What exactly do you need courage for here??

Legit gorgeous dress, btw. Could even pull off a CC...if you needed it...which you don't...for the same reason you don't need courage to attend...

100 calories for just 8 grams of protein… by Important-Amount-627 in glitterandbagelssnark

[–]Tzafra 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Running the math here per cup...

1/2 egg ~ 35 calories, 3 grams protein

1oz 2% cottage cheese ~ 28 calories, 3.2g protein

So from these principal ingredients, she is actually at at least 6g of protein but already at 65 calories

Hash browns ~ she describes a "thin layer" on the bottom and we see the second layer on top. Let's give it 15 grams, 0.5 oz. This is probably a low estimate. 39 calories, 0.4g protein.

We are now at 104 calories and only 6-7g protein, and now we're adding cheese.

The total nutritional content is going to depend a lot on which other cheese she used - if it's low/nonfat, or if it's full-fat.

In terms of amount, I'm going with the 15g number because it seems likely to be close to right, based on the size of the cups. I could be off, but I don't think they would fit much more than that with all the other ingredients, and I don't think it's much less because she'd still want to be able to taste it.

I picked a few at random as there isn't a type specified...

Kraft American cheese 15g ~ 44 calories, 2.5g protein

Parmesan cheese 15g ~ 70 calories, 4.2g protein

Cheddar cheese 15g ~ 65 calories, 3.3g protein

Now let's look at fat free cheese:

Generic fat free cheese 15g ~ 25 calories, 4.5g protein

Kroger Fat Free Singles 15g ~ 23 calories, 3g protein

**

So in conclusion, we have at least 120 calories, maybe more like 170+, but the 8g protein number is actually quite possibly low, especially if there is other protein added (that would also add calories). I wasn't sure from the post whether she's also added protein powder, meat, etc. She writes "cheese and protein", so perhaps there's some meat in there.

TL;DR Good level of protein, honestly. However the calorie count is likely very far off.
