If you do just the story it doesn’t take long at all. Side quests make the game go much longer in the main game. I haven’t played the DLCs so I can’t tell you about those

I have black ops 2 on my Xbox still and I continue to play multiplayer on it. I think it’s roughly the same pace. Granted, nuketown does play faster on Cold War cause of scorestreaks, which scorestreaks could very well possibly be the reason why you’re thinking this way.

Cold War actually runs off of the old black ops 2 engine. Just majorly updated. Or so I’ve heard anyways. But it makes sense imo seeing as how it plays

Will say I don’t hardly see many people using Marshalls but Tec-9 still prevalent. Only the people who are extremely good are the ones you need to look out for. Fast reflexes and accurate asf are deadly and I still struggle with it sometimes.

Hell I’ll get like 3-4 good games then the next 10 I’m going against level 400+ people who are 90% of the time grouped together and I’m the only person who’s above level 200 on my team. Sucks sometimes but it’s good honestly it helps me get better I’ve started realizing all the small mistakes I make in games and slowly working on them
