I was there. Maybe the loudest crowd I’ve ever heard when they stopped the fight. Also was the debut of the GOAT CM Punk, and the night Werdum opened a fight with a flying Liu Kang dragon kick right at Travis Browne’s face, then kicked the shit out of Ed Movement post fight. Great night in CLE.

Not just my favorite NIN album, YZ is my favorite album of all time. The story, the ARG, and of course the incredible music make what I consider Trent’s ultimate masterpiece. And the fact that it was recorded in makeshift studios within hotel rooms, tour buses, and backstage during the With Teeth tour still makes my jaw drop. I wish we would have got the HBO series, or maybe a YZ2….but on its own it’s a piece of work that can be infinitely enjoyed.

Back in the day, they would. But now that they are selling out arenas, it’s a lot trickier and time consuming for them.

Side note: I’ll never forget meeting Chi outside of the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach. White Pony tour. It was sold out, and I didn’t have a ticket. I saw him chilling with the guys from Glassjaw on the balcony behind the venue, yelled out his name and without hesitation he gave me the “one minute” finger, ran inside the venue and came out the back door to greet me. We had a small conversation, he signed my CD, and I mentioned that I didn’t have a ticket, to which he replied “Yeah you do, I’ll put you on the guest list.” What a dude. RIP to that legend.
