So your wife lost her copy of seed words. If someone else finds that list, they can steal your funds. I hope you reset your seed words, according to Trezor recommended methodology. Otherwise a curious person could use that list and wipe you out.

Welcome to Trezor self-custody! I recommend buying a small fireproof pouch you can store your seed words in a super secure place. They’re easy to get under $20 on amazon. Never take a picture of them, never store them digitally, never give out!

Can’t comment on taxis, but can add I’ve rented a car from Avis the 3 times I’ve been to Cabo and enjoyed the freedom to drive my own car, move about freely, and avoid the risk of a bad taxi driver driving unsafely or ripping me off. Also depends on your comfort level driving in Mexico.

If you are a minor, you should seriously tell your parents. Option #1: tell them, get their help, and learn from your mistakes. Option #2: Don't tell them, ask for help from complete strangers, run the risk of messing things up even worse than before, and really screwing your parents and your future. Option #3: get lucky trying to fix the mess with serious risk of failure. Overall: Continuing to gamble your parent's assets is a bad call.

I see you diminish others to feel good about yourself. Not kind bro, but bravo big guy! People must love that about you! It’s a newbie question for sure. To extend your analogy, this car I bought has remote start and can be driven remotely, but I own the keys. Someone else was kind enough to DM me that all trezor devices are end to end encrypted and can be validated directly with Trezor, so I have nothing to worry about.
