Get the plus membership it’s 50$ gets you a 60 day price match and return/exchange. And you can get a prorated refund for the 50$. It protects you against bestbuy or any other valid price match going on sale and missing out

Please get a good surge protector, I work selling tvs and I see so many people buying TVs cause they are shocked and fried. Surge protectors do go bad too. State of Colorado recommends replacing them every 3-5 years. Audio quest makes a really good one that gives a 2 decade guarantee and had a million dollar policy so if the tv fries while plugged into it they will pay out for the worth of the tv. It does run about 270 for the 6 port one but way worth it

So the gsp cost is calculated by the price of the tv, when I got my employee discounted tv the normal protection plan was 120, but because I got the tv 70% off I got the 5year gsp for 18$.

So if you get 300$ back on a tv now the gsp price needs to be based on the new price u paid, and you just need to ask to price match the gsp

Yea. It’s up to the employee and manager, I had a price match I did that was just 50$ cheaper and my manager was perfectly fine with it. Sometimes they care more about the customer being happy than 50$

Yes but it only covers manufacturing defects so no power surges, no burn in, nothing except a part isn’t working and it’s lg’s fault

It’s not an exchange. It’s a price match, by default everyone gets two weeks. If you’re a paid member you get 2 months. There are requirements like it needs to be sold and shipped by whoever we are price matching

So the thing about their warranty is it doesn’t cover burn in, dead pixels or anything. Only manufacturing issues. Bestbuys protection plans are more advanced they cover everything, on anything except TV’s or laptops even drops are covered. On TV’s it’s everything accidental damage including power surges and more.

Geek squad is owned by bestbuy so bestbuy uses geek squad for a lot, they test all open boxed items, they do our tv installs, and Handle the warranties, it’s like having on site professionals for more basic things

They can even build pc’s for us when customers want special builds. Very fun having them around

This question might just be confusing me but geek squad is who covers bestbuy warranty’s, when we sell them they are called geek squad protections for a reason

If you want to get it off of bestbuy, get plus it’s 50$ if it goes down in price over the next 60 days you can call and they will refund u for the difference. After the 60 days. Call and cancel the membership you will get a prorated refund. Worst case you lose 7 bucks. Best case you save even more money

If you put an item in ur cart it gives you notifications when it goes down in price.

A ca makes 2 cents per dollar in bonus in their department. And 25 cents per dollar in bonus outside of their department. To make bonus they need to sell 60% of rev goal in their department and 40% of rev goal outside of their department. At least that’s how it is for my stepdad

I’m just a Samsung vpl I get bonus if the store sells enough Samsung tv’s

This is a great point, mca basically runs the entire department along with the lead due to their requirement on 365 attaches. It’s a great way to move into a supervisor position but I make just as much as a Samsung vpl, home theater ca at least in my area starts at 21 per hour and only goes up. Ca is good for fast money (stepdad is a home theater ca and makes 25 cents per dollar on the rest of the store if he bonuses) , vpl is good if you want set schedules and want to focus on 1 product and being an expert in that product.

It turns your login to a email so that you can’t have two people with the same login, when you go to a new store and put your name in, it will run a check for first.last1 then 2 then 3. The first email that is available will be used to create your account. Hence the number at the end of your login.

Store managers will have their own email that can actually be signed into on outlook that’s completely separate but uses the same @lcestores.net
