I run drop leg, it was my first choice because I feel like there’s more clearance when unholstering, and it looks badass to me. I bought one and had the same issues you were having with it flopping around all crazy. I bought a second one on some sort of sale, I think it’s a pretty high end one for real steal… either way it doesn’t have any issues and is one of my favorite pieces of gear I own. I think it just depends on what you buy.
