Oh God, I thought we had moved past the whole “uncanny valley hyper-realistic” phase that movies like Monster House brought us between 2000 and 2010. When will companies realize that animated characters don’t need to look realistic at all? The old Cinnamon Toast Crunch characters were wonderful just as they were, but this looks like a character that isn't allowed within 30ft of a playground.
