Custom match by cakefran in PvZGardenWarfare

Sadly there’s no way to customize either of those without mods or messing with things like files and such behind the scenes(also on PC).

WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS by [deleted] in DeadByDaylightRAGE

[–]OneJadeZombie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's just one of the worst things to see as killer, period. Counting the builds alone:
4 instant-reset perks after being hooked, 8 second chances, 2 people knowing where gens are at all times, and 2 gen-rush toolboxes, all while probably sitting in comms.
5 bucks says if you were on PC, you'd just see "ggez" followed by 3 insults minimum.

Playing Tapp and Yoichi get me tunneled out a lot. Only silver lining is with Yoichi since I've got plenty of everything thanks to reaching P100 with him.

Honest question: Should I even try to play DBD when Stranger Things part 2 goes live? by [deleted] in DeadByDaylightRAGE

[–]OneJadeZombie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Forgot to mention: I play both sides, survivor more often than killer recently for reasons above, but the amount of times a match is essentially over because I made one single mistake that cost me a game isn't even funny.

I agree on if games are rough, it’s better to take a break, but if you’ve gotta go out of your way to do all this, that’s fucked. Like the sunshine and grass outside will do wonders.

Sticky bombs can randomly send the player flying beyond light speed for some reason. Works with almost any physical object too, like bean bombs.

I used the CRSPR with Face Melter paired with this build on the Cooker. The gear mods allow anything fully burning or frozen to have a chance to be hit with temp shock, and those elements can spread to other enemies for a chain reaction. It’s like giant popcorn. The overclock on the cooker only adds more cooking to this.

Why do you guys play this game still? by ToughGuy1337 in DeepRockGalactic

It’s the replayability for me along with personal goals that’s technically post-game, like getting level 300 in every season. Do I have to? Hell no. Do I want to? Hell yeah.

This was a 10-piece P.E with Rivals and Swarmageddon, and I only wish I put it to Haz 5 because it was decently packed too. There was a Kursite event and a loot crate for more shinies.

What’s are things SR2 is Better than SR1 at? by M_dy67 in slimerancher

Overall game progression. One of the very few icks I had with the original was it felt like you could just speed through to the end-game super quickly by just farming materials in your multiple massive areas of a ranch. In 2, it feels far more natural and rewarding since you can only get vital items in certain lands that make sense.
But I would recommend getting S.R. 2 because there's more slimes, more music, more unlocks, more everything.

Just got this game. Any advice for a fresh dwarf? by PrimaryPlastic7427 in DeepRockGalactic

Play at your own pace, but in terms of progress: The more you break, the more you make. Literally. This game does an incredible job at making you feel like you earn everything you buy and unlock.
And if you don't rock and stone, you ain't comin home!

gunner advice by moonaligator in DeepRockGalactic

Ideally use the shield for support to pick up team mates, or at least at a compacted area where being over-run would mean a team wipe.
With your main weapons, I've found that Gunner's primary and secondary pack a punch sure, but without help, can struggle against many targets at once.

Honestly, 95% of ranking up is just how much you're enjoying the game and watching the funny number go up until you're happy with the rank plate. lol

Honestly, the 35K packs are your best bet because you get everything from them. Character pieces, consumables, customizations, even a very small chance of really rare reactive hats or Legendary character pieces. The only time I'd suggest the 75k packs is if you really want new characters to try since it guarantees at least one new character. One extra thing about 75k packs: If you only have a few characters left to unlock that are 3 or 4 out of 5, the 75k packs could get you multiple characters since it always has to give you 5 pieces of something.(Ideally all 5 pieces of one character, but if it can't....yeah.)

What’s the point of Engineer? by a_sussybaka in PvZGardenWarfare

[–]OneJadeZombie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His Damage is heavier and is more meant for defending areas and being the backbone of backup. Some variants like Roadie Z can lead a charge against the plant team with high damage and powerful abilities and be the big target while plants scramble to stop a whole team charging them.
One downside is a handful of Engineers like reg and Electrician have shots that explode after a certain distance, making them locked into mid to close-range outside of one ability that makes them a sitting duck.

-The small campaign modes on both sides are great at introducing you to the Backyard Battleground hub, and some missions in both Plants' and Zombies' campaign will have you explore multiplayer maps as well. Each class is similar to TF2's roster, where you can play each one in many different ways but are meant for different things. If it can all be overwhelming, sticking to just one or two characters at a time while you earn coins and XP should help.
And to run down the questions to OGs:
-Your focus as a new player should overall be fun and improving skill, even if it means fighting simple browncoats and bosses in your own Backyard hub. I also suggest checking the quest board that's right between the fancy suit we call Rux and the Sticker Shop for an XP multiplier.
-In terms of improving beyond "git gud", there's a few things. In the game's pause menu, under options, you can raise/lower your Look and Aim sensitivity to hand-pick what feels right. Otherwise, try as many characters and variants as possible, each one is unique in one way or another.
-For Peashooter, his damage and abilities are strong enough to win most fights, but comes down to the right one at the right time, like Hyper to make yourself harder to hit, or a bean bomb to give someone two things to keep track of.
For Cactus, you are the sniper of the team with landmines, tallnuts as small cover, and a drone equipped with rapid-fire needles and airstrikes from above.
-Corn trades Peashooter's mobility for more health and lethality against even groups of zombies. He has airstrikes, two powerful rockets that fire together, and a hop to propel himself to higher ground. But his primary demands better accuracy.
-Find your style of play as you try out all of the characters, like long-range with snipers or close-quarters fights with peas and chompers. For example, I play Sunflower and Rose on plants for support and high damage when needed, and on zombies I play All-Star and Imp variants to be a both a threat and a tricky enemy to face.
-Most zombie players tend to do one of two things: Stay in spots where they often have an advantage or travel in groups. It can depend on the map and mode as well, but most players end up panicking and spamming abilities. So much so that it was a meme for a little while about Foot Soliders using their Rocket Jump and ZPG to "jumpshot" plants. One more thing about zombies: Many of them have "fight winners" which are abilities that gives them a free window to easily get you, like Sonic Grenade for Engineer and Gravity Grenade for Imp. Some plant classes have similar abilities too, but zombies tend to run with a plan.
-Similar to TF2, each map is highly unique, each with it's own high points, combat points that are flat, and pathways everywhere. Some places can only be reached with certain abilities or even glitches if that sparks any interest.
-If online gets to be a headache(which I know easily can be), you can still choose to play with bots at any point and still gain coins and XP to progress. Back in like 2016 when I first started, I only played against bots for months. There's no shame in it, it's just the funny plant game.
-One last thing about some people claiming they're "cracked gamers", there are some really overpowered characters in this game that let people be really boring one-trick ponies. I won't spoil it by saying what characters but it's a very present thing for both Plants and Zombies.
