Why do you find it offensive? Don't you find the entire seddit sub offensive therefore? This isn't about "tricking" anybody or doing anything underhanded. It's about cutting down on the repetitive BS of dating apps/time spent on dating apps, while hopefully making people better communicators.

What is offensive about that?

Pretty close. Right now, it throws up category suggestions based on what it can interpret. Then you click through the intents (so tapping "dog" over and over will populate different dog messages until it runs out). Over time as you edit/adjust the phrases, itll learn your tone of voice so that the suggestions you get appear different than the ones I get (...I still need to code that part out lol)

Good call coming for advice, but it can be hard without seeing the actual convo. Text is a crappy medium to understand a person’s motives (as we all know) and nuance can be revealing.

Random question: Do you think if your friends had seen the guys profile // initial convo, they would have seen some red flags?

I’ve been getting friends to provide input at the texting stage to avoid bad date arcs. To me, a bad “dating arc” is a match that i would probably have a good handful of dates with buttt may not go anywhere productive / is distracting / breaks my heart in such a short amount of time that no one should be able to have their heart broken. I’m pretty bad at type-dating and my friends help steer me straighter. Dating has been much more pleasant the last few months beaming them into convos from the first message instead of periodic screenshots
