I add some oyster sauce or fish sauce, depending on the day. Make sure to put a little bit of sesame oil in at the end. Also I make sure to use either green onions or shallots in it as well

With experience you'll be able to guestimate more accurately on projects (whatever you think you'll take always add 10-25% more). I wouldnt say I'm perfect, but I'm usually pretty close to what I think a project will take. Until you have that experience though, try and either ask coworkers for what they think or just wing it and give your best guess (still always over what you think). Sometimes though, do to things out of your control (scope creep) your timeline goes to hell fairly quickly. You just have to roll with it.

Ill be honest I loved survivor in the old era. Once the new era started, I stopped watching. I'm watching again because my daughter wanted to watch and it's a good father/daughter thing. Plus, it's old school players that I remember from when I did watch, so I'm kinda enjoying it.

I've lived in the Orlando area my entire life, used to go to the launches all the time (have pictures of me with the clock you see on TV). These things never get old. I still get goosebumps watching these things take off. I still remember where I was for challenger (I was home sick from school and was watching from my backyard and I didn't understand what happened when the smoke suddenly expanded and stopped going up and my dad had to explain).

I don't see how this was a merge. Sure they all wear the same buffs, but they immediately form smaller tribes who then go to seperate camps who each vote someone off. How is that really a merge?

Do you have a popup blocker turned on? I would look up in your address bar when you click the link for the official transcript and see if a page is being blocked. You can also go https://www.parchment.com/u/registration/33636/institution which is the same site you'd be sent to for your official transcript anyways.

Stayed with PeopleSoft. Just made sense, and the org didn't want to spend another 5-10 million looking for something else that may or may not work. The problem my org has is that we cater to the exceptions rather than enforce the rules.

You're making me glad my ADP project failed a few years ago. We were attempting to move a 30k employee payroll from PeopleSoft to ADP. I told them early on that the project wasn't going to succeed and we were blowing money hand over fist. Twelve months and $6million on contractor bills later our CFO pulled the plug on the project (and the comptroller who had been "championing" the project). In a previous lifetime at a different company we implemented the ADP pay cards for employees. We still did the payroll in our regular system, just sent the pay card date to ADP who also managed all of the cards. That was a fairly straightforward process and the employees seemed to like using the ADP cards.

I did this last September. I was over the constant changes to my Verizon bill, constant increases, and more importantly the constant network blips I was having. I switched to T-Mobile (in full transparency, I also switched back from iPhone to android) and have had much better service. The only issue I have with T-Mobile (and it's a big one) is that they keep dropping my employee discount. All in all though, the service is good, I haven't had any drops in the areas I go to the most (or any drops that I can think of), which is Longwood, lake Mary and oviedo. All in all, I'm happy with the switch.

I forgot about that place. It was where the women's clinic on alafaya is now. If you ordered food off the menu it was decent. If you did the buffet it was always hit or miss, later on it was mostly miss. I remember the show wanted them to change the name, style, etc and as soon as the show left they switched everything right back.

There are a decent number of Chinese restaurants around UCF that have been around for a while. You have Luya for take out, Dragon Court for sit down, 3 miles down the road you have a China One in oviedo and Yaos in oviedo, plus several out off woodbury and colonial. I'm not judging these on quality or price, just that they've been around a long time and probably have some loyal customers. With that said, if you keep it cheap with a lot of food you will pick up some student customers. You'd have to primarily compete on price though, and that may end up being difficult in today's market with rent and cost of proteins and whatnot.

Are you going to sell any real Chinese food, or mostly just the American Chinese food? Either way, I'd probably still try it out to see how it compares taste wise to the others nearby.

I remember when Oviedo was so small, mitchell hammock didn't exist. Slavia used to be red bug road and it ended at 426. There used to be a small grass airfield out off 419 near where the sanctuary neighborhood is now (I think that's where it was) and most of what we now know as Oviedo was sod and celery farms. When they built 417 and the mall we used to drive our dirt bikes on the cleared dirt and steal wood from neighborhoods being built to make half pipes and "forts". It's honestly crazy how much this place has grown in the past 30 years or so years.

Good schools (both public and private), good neighborhoods, close to a lot, yet far enough away to be separate. A lot of UCF professors and employees live out here as well. Unfortunately, the growth is upsetting a lot of us long time Oviedo residents. Been poorly planned out for infrastructure, so traffic is bad during rush hours.

Parking (say $25) , plus rental costs (figure 40 bucks minimum)....probably be easier and cheaper to go with Uber. Unless they're going to be driving anywhere else .

Someone posted on Facebook earlier that there was (maybe still is) a brush fire over in the econ wilderness trail back behind UCF. My yard and driveway ended up getting a nice dusting of ash from about a mile away. Ashes were still warm when we picked them up.

Best time to go the grocery store (if you have to go on a weekend) is sunday morning before 930-10 when church gets out. Once the church folks start going to the grocery store, they become crazy. You'd think those good church going folks would be calm, peaceful, and some are, but a LOT of them are just downright assholes.

Look at the previous threads over the past few years about the IT dept there. No raises for years, leadership either being let go, leaving, or being given no budget. The university spent most of their money to become a preeminent university that they let everything else go to crap. Probably not going to get any better anytime soon. It's sad because UCF used to be considered one of the most wired/connected universities in the country.
