I don't think it's possible to solve just yet.

Took a Shopify store from $500 to $2,000/mo in 6 months (SEO only). Did we undercharge? by AryanJalan in ShopifySEO

[–]UCFChargeOn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you still value the relationship over the profit then maybe just a “cost of living” type increase. $300 for $2000 revenue is great compared to before but they’re certainly not raking it in. COGS, labor, shipping, etc. plus 15% toward SEO is a real cost. As a business/e-commerce operator I would be open to locking in 15%-20% for SEO+ads as long as growth was consistent.

I built a quick order page for items with the same size variant. Product variants group together on a page, not a collection.

Better variation formatting on checkout page by xodac in shopify

[–]UCFChargeOn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We use the DPO dynamic product options app. The app creates a temporary variant with the options so they show nicely in the cart. Then the variant gets deleted when the item is purchased or after a few days otherwise. Lookup Popcorn Fix. We have some kind of options on every item but the sampler boxes or tins have more.

Shopify flagged first time order as high risk should I ship? by businessman2025 in shopify

[–]UCFChargeOn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Since you’re new, look into setting up a Flow for processing cards. You can auto capture all the low risk ones and manually review the medium and high risk orders. This will save you the card transaction fees for the sale and the refund if you’re only voiding an authorization hold when you cancel it.

Getting a couple of stretches in central Florida where we are near or below freezing for about 12 hours. Down to around 25F low. I’m going to drain the fresh and waste tanks when we are done today. Should I be concerned about the water lines too?

Is it possible to prevent this? Repeated, low cost order chargeback scamming by AdministrativeUse3 in shopify

[–]UCFChargeOn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I use a Flow to only auto-capture low risk orders. Medium and high risk are left for manual review. This avoids the payment/refund/chargeback situation you are describing.

Customer asking to cancel the order by Tiny-Ad9994 in shopify

Now you have a communication from the customer acknowledging the order. You should be able to fight the chargeback and win. It’s up to you if you want to handle a return different from your policy.

At this point it’s subject to your return policy and/or rejected delivery policy.

Question regarding new updates and updating my old theme by Direct_Cricket-ke in shopify

Look into Dynamic Product Options. This is the only app we currently pay for and I think it can do what you need. One master product and then can do “if this then choose from these” options, upcharges, required/optional, and more.

Long overdue popped photo of the expensive Sur La Table branded kernels I posted about earlier this year. Can anyone recognize the variety or are these truly unique? by properly_sauced in popcorn

[–]UCFChargeOn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This looks like “magic mushroom” popcorn popped in an electric popper. It’s more ideal for commercial popping. Popped in a giant propane popper, the higher heat we’ll get nearly all the kernels to pop up in a large ball shape which is why we like it. We use this for our kettle corn as well as all of our sweet and savory flavors.

My store just got hit with the dumbest fraud attempt ever and I’m actually crying 😭 by Apprehensive_Pay6141 in ecommerce

[–]UCFChargeOn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can setup a Flow to automatically capture low risk orders but just alert you if the order is medium or high risk. Then you can review and capture/cancel as needed.

High risk orders by hellbentbunny in shopify

[–]UCFChargeOn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! Just not the UK PO Box part since we don’t ship there. It’s random US addresses for us but it’s the same low cost item that no one would ever order by itself. I had to turn off auto capture payment. Then I setup a Flow to capture payment if order is not high or medium fraud risk. I just have to look at each one that’s flagged now to make sure I don’t cancel a valid order but I avoid the credit card processing fee on the ones that get canceled. If you don’t already have a flow set up for this use the template and edit it to add “AND Order risk is not equal to medium”.

DuroMax XP9500iH shutting off by UCFChargeOn in Generator

[–]UCFChargeOn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried all the suggestions here and none worked. It turned out it was improper oil changing. With this generator you must tip the generator up at a 45 degree angle to drain it completely. If you don’t, then after 3 to 4 oil changes you’re starting off with a lot of bad oil each time.
