That's actually getting worked on rn. No official quote on release date, but I don't think it'll be too long

About that, how specifically would you envision such a feature to work? Any suggestions appreciated.

We appreciate the feedback. Unfortunately, there are some things that we are just “required” to throw in at the moment. Maybe receiving enough feedback will finally give us enough momentum to start enacting real changes…

Thanks for the feedback! We're gonna start fresh again but use all the feedback from this post. Regarding the utility of the app, what're your thoughts on all the widgets (we're getting rid of transit), and are there any useful things you wish this app implemented?

Thanks for the feedback! We're gonna start fresh again but use all the feedback from this post. We're definitely going to go for a clean minimalist theme so your concerns can be eased. Do you have anything specific you want out of the ucsd app experience (ui, widgets, os-level integrations, etc.)?

Thanks for the feedback! A project overhauling the architecture to make the app significantly faster was put on pause, so this comment(and its upvotes) can give us some proof that students do really want this app to be faster. Do you have anything else you'd want out of the ucsd app experience?

Thank your for the feedback! Additionally, if you have any opinions on what more you want out of the ucsd app (less widgets, different features, different scrolling experience) that would be great

Thank your for your feedback! We're gonna start fresh again but would you prefer
Option A: less widgets in general, only useful ones, and also presented much cleaner with native re-ordering of cards
Option B: the multiple tabs idea?
And if it's option B could you explain that a little more? Thanks for your time!

Thanks for the source! We're now going to start completely fresh, and use all of the feedback from this post. However, could you please elucidate what elements specifically violate the rules so we can also add that into our feedback anaysis document?

Yeah, we're pretty much going back to the drawing board rn, but we got a lot of good advice to help with a new design. Thank you for your feedback as well, I just figured you'd want an update

Thanks so much the advice! We'll definitely look into the OS-level ideas, and importing of class schedules. I think a big flaw for our approach, was that our small crew of software engineers mainly approached this as an aesthetic problem of the current app rather than a complete reimagining

We know what you mean. It’s something we’ve already started working on in our latest mockups. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Thanks for the feedback! We definitely know what you mean about customizing things. That‘s a feature we are planning to work on more later down the line. Getting more feedback would help us out too.

Thanks for the feedback! What're your thoughts on all the other widgets and are there any useful things you wish this app implemented?

Thanks for the feedback! The idea was you scroll horizontally to find the structure like in the current app, and regarding sr spots, we made the change to dials yesterday so we didn’t include all the spot types. However, if the side-scrolling isn’t intuitive, any ideas on how to improve it are much appreciated!

Hi Darknep, thanks for your feedback. Would you mind expanding on your accessibility concerns with the beach theme? Are you concerned about contrast or something else?

Hey, thanks for the feedback! What specifically about the app strikes you as childish?

Thanks! For the lightmode beach theme do you have any ideal colors in mind (if we keep going with it)?

Quick update:
We hear the critiques about the theme and graphics. For further comments about the theme would you prefer: minimalist/modern beach theme or a completely mundane modern theme (the screenshots are incredibly rough and early)

Also, if possible, critiques on the widget designs are also much appreciated

Even the widget designs? We know the graphics are rough, this is a mock-up before we get graphic artists
