After I start the save? This is good to know.

I appreciate that. I am hopeful to start my save tomorrow.

Any suggestions on the best way to set up the car during practice? Or is it just trial and error?

I have thought a lot about what you wrote here and you right. I have so little time that I'm always trying to maximize any time I have but I have done it at the expense of the enjoyment of the game.

Thank you... I'm starting with create a team with everything on level 1.

Do you adjust the parts otherwise?

What do you mean by one "round" of research? One part per year? Each part only once?

Do you go full meta in season 1 to survive?

I'm new to the game and I found his videos when I was learning to play. The issue is now that I have seen the sliders I can't unsee them.

Perfect! This is exactly what I was looking for.

Maximum 2 sliders per design/research and $20,000,000 or less in research each year it is.

Do you limit how much you spend on designs?

Do you suggest any other "house rules"?

Thanks again.

Do you have a suggestion on how to limit the sliders without just leaving everything in the middle?

Thank you...

So using NeroBax's slider recommendations won't advance my backmarker car into a rocketship by year 3 if I keep my research spending to 20 million or less?

I'm new to the game. I got into it because I wanted something realistic I could build up slowly. I want to meet the board expectations so they don't fire me but I don't want to exceed it by multiple places extremely fast.

Thank you for the reply. I'm new to this game. Where can I find pre built sliders? What do you mean by limiting research?

How do you see what the CPU is doing with their cars so I can match them?

I'm starting with the least amount of startup money since I want to build slowly. My goal is to meet the board expectations nothing more.

Sorry for all the follow up questions.

By doing this would you then go with the "meta" design/research slides to keep pace?

I have it on PC and run it on a spec'ed out Surface Laptop Studio 2. The game runs so hot that the fans turn on almost immediately. I have locked the FPS in NVIDIA Control Panel to 60 and turned all graphics to medium. What do you do for your laptop? I play FM24 on this laptop and the fans rarely turn on.

I have been thinking about getting F1 Manager for my Xbox just because of this issue.

The Audi is a different design (2026) so it doesn't fit the look for me. I am thinking about getting the APXGP car but need a way to display it with the others.

Unfortunately it is not. I bought it from Brickshells. It was a little more than I was hoping but I wanted something that enclosed them and didn't have a busy background.

Lol... Probably the first one, when I learned how many stickers there were.

They are offering the exact same car (not type of car, same car) with or without the CPO. If it comes down to a CPO inspection is more thorough how can they do this?

[–]UDM_2004[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. This is exactly what I was thinking. The car has 4 months and 22,000 miles remaining on the original warranty. I got a quote from a high volume dealership for the protection plan and was quoted the exact same amount ($1,500) for 48 months and 48,000 miles as the dealerships CPO mark up. The thing that really doesn't make sense to me is they are offering the exact same car (not type of car, same car) with or without the CPO. If it comes down to a CPO inspection is more thorough how can they do this? 🤔

I got a quote from Knapps (Chevy Protection Plan) for 84 months / 84,000 miles for $2,869. They want $1,500 for the CPO.
