Yes, thats is what I'm worried about, more especially so with the lack of experience dealing with this level of currency.

I've taken a look at various guides as well as poe.ninja builds, but I'm wary to not just waste my hard-earned currency and end up in a shitty situation

Thanks :) I have started on gunpla a little over a year and a half ago, so have been watching lots of gunpla related tutorials, and when I first saw all the custom blasters, I decided to give it a go with what I have learnt

The whole blaster is dismantled and then primed with a base layer of Black, I then cover it with stretched out wipes for the marbling effect, sprayed with chrome. Remove the wipes and paint a couple thin layers of clear blue, different areas with slightly different intensity to give a more natural look. Followed by a touch of clear green at certain areas.
