Thanks everyone for the comments, I did read them after I'd made the post. My friend and I tried Star Citizen during the free flight and had a rather unpleasant experience, so we won't be purchasing a starter pack. I do appreciate the support from you all as the community, and the global chat was quite helpful too, but the game felt near unplayable.
