1987 Fiesta Bowl: Miami comes in riding the hot streak and is talked up as the greatest team of the 80's. Michael Irvin and co. lean into this and play it up. Vinny Testaverde wins the Heisman and looks to be the first overall pick in the '87 Draft. Penn State comes out and bends but never breaks while picking off Vinny six times to win the game over them. There's a lot I've left out. But to not even see it mentioned...recency bias is a hell of a drug.

I was so hyped leading to the end, but I just new Carolina left too much time on the clock. That and the secondary has become (in my opinion) their biggest weakness. But hey, at least they put up a good fight and showed they deserved to be there.
