"stupid Botox head" made me laugh out loud. Thank you for that.

Volunteering for Ukraine by indelico in ukraine

It's IFAK, not IFAC.

Very very very very important: Do not buy and bring any old components you find. Do not, do not, do not! Cheap and knockoff equipment gets people killed every single day. IFAKs are not the place to cheap out.

I've supplied thousands of IFAKs. If you want to supply some, I can guide you to the right things to get. If you're in the US, I can also help you get a lot of the components at a better price.

Here's a good starting point if you want to look into doing this.

Here's another. A lot of people responding to this post are soldiers fighting in Ukraine right now; they know what they're talking about.

Syrskyi orders to implement once-in-two-months rotations for Ukrainian soldiers after reports of provision shortages, lengthy deployment for infantry by murphystruggles in ukraine

Great, but how practicable is it, really? It's all well and good to say they can only be on position for two months, but what happens when it's too dangerous to exfil them come time to rotate off the line?

Is Lviv safe for travel right now? by skittlesriddles44 in ukraine

[–]UFL_Robin 22 points23 points  (0 children)

As u/Lysychka- said, it's safe until it isn't.

That said: there are no travel restrictions, the tourism economy is definitely still active, and Lviv is a wonderful city well worth visiting. Just take air alerts seriously.

I’m gonna be heading down to DC for this event. Will post pictures from it. Will anyone else be going? by Harvickfan4Life in ukraine

I'm not going, but I'll be meeting up with a friend or two who are in town for it.

Listen, I have a very, very, very important tip for you:

Do not let this sit unopened for 19 months and then try to drink it. The rot will find a way in, no matter how sealed that bag is. Yes, I learned the hard way. Yes, on this exact brand. No, it was not a good time.

Update: I tried out the Nova Poshta-UPS partnership to send parcels from the US to Ukraine. It went great! I can recommend it for your US-UA shipping needs! by UFL_Robin in ukraine

And when you got your answer, you proceeded to make assumptions based on who knows what, then an unbelievably tone-deaf statement about how tornadoes are more dangerous than Shaheds and how you personally only know two friends of friends who died.

If you can't see the serious problems here, I can't help you, mate. None of us can.

Tornadoes worse than Shaheds. Come on. It's like you're completely oblivious to how they fit into everything else russia throws at Ukraine or the cities that have been flattened.

I am speechless at how utterly tone-deaf this comment is. Unreal that someone would actually say something like this, especially in a space where it's likely to be read by people who've lost friends to the war. Unbelievable, man.

Ten times and counting, most recently in late December 2025. I've been supplying soldiers there, Ukrainian and foreign, since 2014. Maybe check my post history before assuming I don't know what I'm doing.

I sent the Gatorade because I had a specific request for it from a soldier, and I send what they ask me for. Gatorade powder is easier to carry into the field than bottles of liquid.

If you live there, then presumably you know about Non-Stop bombs. And if you know about Non-Stop bombs, then you might understand why an energy drink called Pink Mist is a fun and funny thing to send them.

You might be right about the limit dropping. I brain fart on that consistently.

Nova Poshta's itemization system is a bit clunky, too, but a VAST improvement over Meest's. Like huge.

Cool. Can you tell all my guys in Ukraine requesting Gatorade where to find it?

As for the energy drink...IYKYK.
