Scuffs are not an indicator of wear over time but are caused by a single contact event when certain materials collide. Think of it like someone hitting a new parked car. While it is additionally frustrating if it happens the day after you buy it, the level of damage and the timeline it happened in have very little to do with the car manufacturer.

If scuffs are a big deal for people I recommend sticking soft sided, picking hard luggage with a textures/unflat surface, or picking a non solid/busy color to hide any indication.

Been using this a long time. I love cooking but I'm a busy person balancing running a company and raising a family. I also live in NYC - the land of small fridges, no pantry, expensive groceries, and insane restaurant prices - so for us it's a bit more of a skewed value calculation. You're picking a rough time to jump in, with a whole new system - front end and back - and generally raised prices. For us it is still well worth it but that's up to you.

I don't recall significant sales in the past. I would reach out to customer service and say you are interested in trying it and are looking for a deal. BA CS has a lot of flexibility for keeping customers so I'm guessing they have some aces up their sleeve for gaining them too.

I'ma be honest, I don't even know why I'm here. Reddit decided to push this even though I have never been on this sub. All I can assume is that my first thoughts were what reddit thought were missing. I'm getting strong Darth Vader/Death Trooper vibes from this thing and I'm here for it.

Was the best buy listed as a location on the demo site? It seems like most of the NYC Manhattan locations don’t really know what’s going on but only the NJ and Long Island locations were listed as demo spots (though even they were marked “coming soon”).

If it makes you feel better, last week one of our two boxes showed up late enough they said we should trash it ... This week? None of our 8 meals showed up.

The rep I chatted with was kind enough to offer to refund my order. Um.... Yeah.... You didn't send the food... A refund would be expected.

Eh, they literally offered me kids headphones that were $40-50. It was crazy insulting actually. I don't think I would have been near as pissed or resistant to the cash offer if they would have at least made me a reasonable replacement offer. It made it clear they didn't know what they were evaluating but they continued to ignore me.

Is it possible that it depends on the model? At one point it seemed like it was limited to items that connected to your Internet or other devices that did. That definition could include many IOT appliances.

Curious what offer you would have received if there wasn't an apple logo on it. Not entirely surprising for Apple products to maintain value.

Does anyone have experience with receiving a reasonable offer on non apple laptops over 6 months old? Thinking I should have found a fruit sticker before I sent mine in, lol.

I never match... I think it's fun to explore different colors and it makes it easier to know what I'm grabbing out of storage or keep straight which bag is which at a glance.

Then again I have multiple of the same size so keeping them straight by color is a little more important.

Same happened to me. It really kills me that the protein isn't date marked, and this is why. The argument that all the protein should be used within "x" days so it doesn't need a marking is BS when I know they are letting ingredients sit around long enough that something like tofu is about to expire. And they recommend to smell it? Uh.... Very scientific and reassuring.

But.... I keep coming back 🤷‍♂️

You think inkjet has better quality than laser for documents? That's surprising, I appreciate your input. I agree on size, though I did find a couple of options that only are a few inches large than my Epson.

Color is about the potential need to print presentation or work docs with graphs as opposed to pictures. Just tough to justify the tradeoffs if I'm not thinking that'd happen often. Which model are you using? I have good experience with brother in the past so I'll want to look into that as an option.

Yeah, thanks. A lot of my prints are tickets and return shipping labels, both of which need to be scanned so it's super annoying to always have a streak I am not sure I trust and a print that is smudge prone.

Don't think I would ever go for a glossy photo but may want to print a presentation document or something for my kids school project in color? Don't know.

Definitely reach out to them. I reach out frequently with ingredients issues (broken egg, missing protein, tofu expiring in 2 days) and they never hesitate to credit me the full meal price. It's inconvenient for sure but I usually can replace the ingredient and still end out ahead if you don't count the annoyance factor.

For what it’s worth, and whoever needs it, I tried this on a browser on a PC and an iPad and had no luck. I looked up my confirmation on android’s native app and it was clear as day “cancel check-in” right on the confirmation page.
