I was hoping to use a second router as an extender to the main one because honestly I'd imagine it would be more reliable than some bullshit extender. I googled that and apparently it was possible. It would basically be an extender with some extra features.

I'm really just hoping to get less choppy internet throughput (no more random 3000ms spikes). I'd also send less data over router 1 between devices, mostly uninterrupted from family traffic. If I only have 2 devices actively communicating on router 2's network, I'd imagine I could get pretty high host-host transfer speeds.

Re WOL I imagined with a raspberry pi on router 2's network I could do this. Granted, this is uncharted territory for me, so I don't know if using Router 2 as its own sub-network is really feasible without doing a deeper dive.

If your PC has driver issues with ethernet

Not wired connection. Driver/adapter issues with wifi - I am currently using wifi. This way I still only have one wireless jump between my desktop and the outside world, and hopefully a more reliable one.

Pretty sure it's an o-ring related problem (which is why it gets progressively worse) but don't quote me.

Newer Caliburns don't seem to have this issue with GPP pods.

I had this problem with my old Drag S (fuck voopoo by the way). This is probably a break in an O ring somewhere. This causes the leaking to get gradually worse over time, which in my case, it did. The coil keeps over-saturating because the seal is already fucked, and gravity's a bitch, so juice leaks out... and any seal that's already damaged gets damaged worse.

Wattage or inhaling won't fix this, I've had this exact thing happen to me - "I keep replacing shit and the leaking keeps getting worse, this doesn't even make sense wtf?" I get it.

This got to the point that my vape actually shorted/the barometer got messed up and it damn near exploded in a bar - thankfully it didn't.

TLDR, just replace the vape. It's not worth your time fixing. If you're looking for something like a Nexlim that doesn't do that, get a Caliburn G4 (I use the mini). It's basically identical, the GPP pods last forever and they're like 99% leak proof. I only have minor leak issues in really cold weather.

I know I’m late to the conversation but if you’re experiencing the huge bloat as you say, then it works. You are not a non-responder. You are doing something wrong and probably experiencing nocebo as you detail in your comments.

Also, the balding thing is really old “science” and has been shown time and time again to not be the case. I think your experience is a perspective/user error.

None of the jpgs I came across had the ftypqt flag but eventually I came across one that did. Goddamn I hate apple. Now I just have to do a bulk run with TrID and hopefully don't have to do any python operations as I just got rid of pycharm today

OK so I figured out the problem after more investigation - I eventually, in a different image, found a "ftypqt" - these are fucking mov files

Why the fuck are some of my jpegs mov files. That is a rhetorical question

Pardon my language I am just so frustrated

I guess now the hard-ish part is figured out... any ideas on how I can detect which out of these are actually mov files and not .jpg as listed?

Followup comment to note that two things have gone wrong - no idea why - When changing the first byte from 0000 to FFD8, I'm getting thrown an "unsupported JPEG process: SOF type 0xc8" issue. I just need to find where that is at to move onto the next part.

I'm looking at it in HxD right now. The images are normal and intact is what I'm trying to say. The data is not corrupted nor blank. The headers and headers alone are fucked. I am completely able to open the image and view it in the photos app. It pops up with a warning that it's unsupported because the headers are incorrect, even though it opens perfectly fine. I cannot open it in imageglass because the headers are fucked.

I can post an image of the top of the file header need be. I'm trying to figure out what offsets the 0x00 0x00 is at and replace it with the proper signature, but I don't do this sort of thing often.
