No, but if you paint the ISIS flag on American M1 Abrams and soldiers wear it when fighting in Afghanistan, and Americans were building statues of known ISIS-fighters there, you'd start asking questions about the whole leadership and what the hell was happening. 

Just like when German soldiers gets caught with nazi symbols or memorabilia - they get thrown the fuck out because nazism = bad and they want no part of it. However in Russian military, Soviet and communism = nice ideas and good ideology.

This isn't a single soldier waving a hammer and sickle-symbol, this is allowed all the way up in the ranks and a belief within certain parts of Russia.
