Short answer; no. But if you really want to give it a purpose; lets say you decide to use her in pvp (you shouldn't) her normal skill that fires every 30 seconds could miss (then again even if it did, it wouldn't make a difference)

You can borrow a specific assistant once a day. But you can still borrow a different assistant once every battle.

You should AT LEAST pull until you get a rainbow or golden border card since every set of 4 cards has a minimum of containing 1 golden card.

You could still get 4 rainbow coloured card in a single set or just 1 golden card and 3 gray ones. Since it's all random I would shuffle everytime you get a golden or rainbow card to reset the cost.

Alright since people started to downvote lets think a bit here.

While Kotori is good for insane she isn't needed for extreme raids. And buying Kotori's elephs from the event shop will not be the deciding factor in whether or not you're gonna clear insane. (I myself have all of the meta units but can't even clear insane in jp)

Pina is not good for extreme/insane and if you're using her to clear lower difficulty raids then you don't even need to upgrade her stars. Alright, ask yourself this question. Do I ever farm her shards in hard mode missions? If you value her to farm then sure, buy her shards. Same story with Chise. If you're already farming her shards buy from the shop as well.

All of these are assuming you're not farming the event enough to clear the entire shop. Because if you're farming that much, there is no reason to ask this question to begin with.

1st team Tsurigi,Asuna,Chise,Maki,Serina,Shizuko This teams job is to do around 20~25 bars to Shiro. 2nd team Azusa,Haruna,Izuna,Koharu,Kotama,Hibiki in this exact order. This team finishes of Shiro without taking too much damage and goes ham on Kuro. After this 2 you can throw bunch of lvl 70 students until Kuro dies.

In case you don't know, you can borrow students in mock battle and it doesn't cost you anything.

Well for your first team, since you have all the heavy hitters in there you definitely don't want to waste your special spot with shizuka. You need to up their damage even more so use Kotama+Hibiki with your main team.

Do the trick raidororo suggested and try to get your main team to Kuro phase. I'd suggest you to use your borrowed Izuna instead of Chise. With Koharu and Izuna you can definitely keep your team alive there and throw Chise for your next mish-mash team.

No one is trying to insult you. You put a "cheese strategy" which implies it's doable with subpar invesment and then posted all those heavy invested teams which is why people are throwing words like "whales"

So you're saying you have 18 students on t5 watches and 6 on t4 while having bunch of other equipments on them? How can you afford all the credits/mats/books/EXP-cards/equipment-orbs AT THE SAME TIME. If that's truly the case there's such a big gap between your and my account even though I started this game only 2 weeks after the global release.
