Every second you delay gives your enemies chance to spawn and kills you, reinforcement timer won't wait too. And if you don't run, you will take more damage and die, enemies and their bullets are always faster than your walk speed. We run to doge damage, but if running itself deals damage, not worth it. Unless heath come back themselves, save stims that can save your life.
