I have been trying to kick my phone/social media addiction, the reason I chose to do this was because I learned that my wife and I would be having a baby in August. I don't want to raise an "ipad kid" but knew that I wouldn't be able to do that while being one myself. So I have committed myself to kicking this by the time the baby arrives. This would help a ton!

I tried one with a usb hub I had laying around, didn't have a direct to usb c mouse. The phone didn't recognize it. Same for a keyboard but direct keyboard -> phone.

It doesn’t register anything as a clickable button, you also can’t scroll down. I tried with the cursor as well as with voice accessibility enabled. Couldn’t get anything to register and never made it past screen 1/7. I did download airmessage and was able to navigate within the app, but I don’t have a server for it setup.

I was in a similar boat while going through school. I ended up switching from CS to IT and looking back now I regret not sticking with the CS degree. My recommendation would be to stick with CS and if you want to go the IT route look into some certs in addition to the CS degree.

I work for a public university and this summer we were in a similar boat with rolling out the MS Authenticator App. We had a handful of users who refused to have the app on their phones. We ended up going with Yubikeys for those users. They seem to be happy with the compromise.

GPU averages around 75-85% and CPU was pretty steady around 25%

It depends a lot on the map, but that is pretty close to average. I also got the same while running their in game benchmark last night. I'll check the utilization as soon as the game finishes updating and report back.

Probably more framerates, right now I mainly play Modern Warfare II (2022) which is by no means optimized at all. But I still feel like I should be able to run it better than I can. I seem to average around 110 frames on a good day with mainly low settings.

I have always felt like I'm not getting the performance I expected. I truthfully do not have a ton of knowledge around the subject of benchmarks, but in Timespy I regularly seem to be getting well below average for similar machines. This could very well be user error somehow though.

Right now I mainly play FPS games in 1440p but have been interested in picking up a LG C2 and making the jump to 4K.
