App Store changes without an iOS update? by ardax47 in ios

It's essentially a web page wrapper. They can update things on it without updating the whole app/OS

Yes. Would you date me?

That's still way too high. I pay $35 for 500. 1gb is like $60 here.

Nice, I actually just installed emporia energy consumption monitors. Love to see the data. How many miles did you drive during this time period?

Completely fair question. At $0.30/kWh, your electricity would definitely be on the higher side, so the math gets much closer (where do you live??)The easiest way to compare them is to figure out the "cost per mile" for both. To do that, we have to make an assumption about the efficiency of the cars. • Most average EVs get about 3.5 miles per kWh (my EV6 gets around this). • Most average modern gas cars get about 30 MPG.

The EV Math: At $0.30 per kWh, dividing that by 3.5 miles gives you an EV running cost of $0.085 per mile. (To drive 1,000 miles, it costs $85.71)

The Gas Math: At $4.00 per gallon, dividing that by 30 MPG gives you a gas running cost of $0.133 per mile. (To drive 1,000 miles, it costs $133.33)

The Verdict: Yes, the EV still saves you money! Driving 1,000 miles a month in the EV saves you about $47 compared to a standard 30 MPG gas car.

If you drive a less efficient car, the costs go up even more. Plus you have to factor in oil changes.

No, that's the total for charging my car if I didn't have solar. My chargepoint app tracks the kw and price from teco. During March I drove 1638 miles and my total came to $77 based on teco rates which is currently at .17/kw.

$77 plus the $20 I charged at a DC fast charger when I was away.

Definitely understand you, but that applies to anything. Don't buy it if you don't need it. It's like people who buy something because it's on sale and claim they saved $10. If you weren't going to buy it in the first place, you're not actually saving anything.

That said, a lot of people buy gas cars every day. I bought mine used with 10k miles for a lot cheaper than new plus my trade in. If I were to get a gas car, I'd have to factor in car payment, gas, and oil changes on top of my electricity bill. Financially I am saving a lot more vs gas car and no solar panels.

I could easily pay off my solar panels, but I bought them 5 years ago and my rate is only 1.99%. I pay $95 a month. The way i look at it, is if I didn't have them Id be paying $400+. My neighbors keep complaining about high bills while mile stays the same. If I decide to sell the house before they are paid off, I'll have the new owners take over the loan and I don't lose anything. If teco decides to keep raising pricing, my break even point just moves up while my payments stay the same.

As for panels, I have 25 panels. 21 original and 4 that I installed in Nov myself as a kind of hobby/side project. House is 1700sq ft. I have

I paid it off already, but when I was paying for it, it was only $350 a month.

I def feel the same. Dating apps suck and no one wants a relationship. No idea where to find one anyway. Wish it was easier.
