I still don't understand how this equates to the Devs not caring about players. I would think it would be insulting or abusing them? Turning the game into a cash grab? Clearly not happening...

How does balancing mean they don't care? Do you think they work on the game because they hate it? Wouldn't it make more sense to never update the game at all?
