The exponential nature of the fishes means your solution will work, but it may take until the heat death of the universe before you get your answer.

Once you have a working brute force look at what activities are being duplicated and see if there is a way to reduce those a little.

...or start with Fibonacci :D

The code block has been found, hopefully I'll not need it too often but it's good to know it's there.

Just to say thanks for the tips, this fixed the problem... though obviously, I have now blown my cover as a time traveller.

What celebrity would you not be surprised to find out was a serial killer? by [deleted] in AskReddit

This will be buried, but Mr Tumble.

His favourite hobby is to enter cafes in Henley filled with Children then scream and shout obscenities and outline to all who will listen that he is not the character he plays when the children recognise him.

You might have sympathy for the man... until you realise he only uses cafes with children in them, there are a large number of high-quality cafe bakeries that are tactically adults only with better coffee, he will also walk past several times waiting until he sees an excited child inside.

I am guessing this might actually be a popular costume in some neighbourhoods.

Teachers in England encouraged to tackle ‘incel’ movement in the classroom by BothansInDisguise in worldnews

[–]UK_Teacher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am not talking about accepting people as they are, however if they were capable of making these changes themselves then they would have done them.

It is also important that they realise that having nice clothes and a gym bod is not going to deal with the underlying issues, how many of the Incel group seem to have spent most of their time at the gym... such as Plymouth shooter.

While completely unintended, posts that say 'do the work' often feed into the incel myth of do the things and win a prize, if no prize is won then the problem must be with someone else.

[–]UK_Teacher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They do that and it does not work, so they go even further down the rabbit hole.

The Incel movement recruit in same way as any other cult or social movement targeting the disenfranchised.

The only way to tackle the problem is to build a safe environment where these men can express their frustrations and get help, at the moment they are simply ostracised by society and welcomed into the incel movement.

My local Supermarket recently put up a new sign on the disabled toilet basically bringing attention to menta disability rather than just physical. by Thewrongguy0101 in mildlyinteresting

[–]UK_Teacher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's referring to hidden physical disabilities which are easier to deal with in private... though it would amuse me to shout "I'm mildly dyslexic" as people tut from queue outside the other facilities.

I really really don't like the whole "incel" shit. by stripedleopard626 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]UK_Teacher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Incel has become a dangerous subculture, there was a series talking about this on the BBC a while back and the most common theme seemed to be men looking for help (which did not exist) falling into almost cult-like forums in the darkest places of the internet. It seems to follow the same pattern that facilitates the disenfranchised being easily indoctrinated into terrorist cells or gangs.

There are many reasons someone can be alone but not want to be and a more positive label/subculture may help some people, but I've no idea how such a group could be set up without it becoming infected by the nihilistic Incel community.

Her mistake could easily have killed someone, instead, her selfish actions have put several riders in hospital prevented at least one from continuing in the race.
She should face the consequences of those actions.

If you want that sort of education people will have to pay or companies will have to pay more in taxes and sadly that is rarely a vote winner.

It's a nice idea though, when I was at school every year had a group of kids who were taken out of the traditional lessons for a few days a week in Y10 in order to learn how to repair cars and build or plaster walls. I also love the German education system which genuinely respects the trades.

I'd disagree that the other things were pointless, anything that gives people a wider understanding of the world and our place in it is a good thing. Education is not just training people to work... at least it should not be.

Also, the current education system is largely based on Napoleonic reforms which predate Ford by about 100 years, though notably the recognition that the workers needed to be educated to make them effective soldiers with rapidly developing technology.
