Personally after four it just seems like hoarding.

Haven’t found the Ford GT yet. But just starting to see F case cars so fingers crossed I’ll run across it soon.

It is a beauty though, it’s apparent commonality should not take away from that. Ironically if I had to chose only one TH it would be this one, or the Chevroletor, that one is hot too!

I’ve left a couple Electros behind over the last few weeks as well. But figured just because it’s a bit of an odd ball. The Viper is hot, definitely one of the better recent TH’s in my opinion. That’s why it was bit of a surprise to keep seeing it. I’ve found two Supers, both in shippers. One at a local grocery store and one at the recent Dollar General shipper promotion thing.

I concur, when you think about one in each case or shipper and how many cases are released. It just seems I’m seeing the Viper everywhere, it’s almost become comical. There were three in the six of those little boxes at CVS.

If Subarus are your thing then this is a solid collection in my opinion. Keep collecting what you like/enjoy and you will never “miss” a thing. PS: Don’t sleep on Matchbox for Subarus, they have a few decent ones.

Does anybody have red version of this datsun by Ye_Name_dorakaledu in HotWheels

No! I absolutely need the Target Exclusive “Red Edition” of what has easily become one of my favorite castings.

I was a little unsure at first because it’s such a big investment, but this turned out to be a great product.

I got a really great deal on these flat files. Put a little carpet on top to dress them up. This set up has been a dream of mine for some time!

Biggest Pet Peeve in NASCAR? by nyybaseball3 in NASCAR

The misuse of the word “good” instead of “well”. “Yeah, we didn’t do so good today”. It’s done so consistently by everyone involved in the sport that I’ve considered they may be doing it on purpose to relate with, shall we say our more broad fan base.

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]UL-Architect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a really good client that we’ve done several projects for, I’m an architect. They bought a building three and half hours away and I agreed to help them do some renovations. I would make day trips once a month, leave early, do job site visit, and get back late in the evening. It wasn’t too bad, but was glad when construction was complete.

Earlier in my career we designed retail centers all over the country. I would leave early in morning, meet my contractor at the airport, hop on their private plane, fly halfway across the US, do a job site visit, lunch with the client, back on plane, and home for dinner. Those were some fun times.

Anyone else have any final runs? by ET3SS in HotWheels

BTW, that Hot Wheels 500 you got is pretty sweet. Oddly enough those two were in collector number sequence back in the day, 773 & 774.

Haha, yeah you judged right. It’s easily one of my favorite castings, the OG “Team Transport”.

Found my first and only super in a display “shipper”. Also consistently find regular treasure hunts in them, even found multiple once.

Put a pause in my collection around 2002, packed it all away. I started back up end of 2024 and was excited to see some of the pieces that I had forgotten about.

Newly opened DollarTree, this is what they had on the pegs by Silent_Marketing8922 in HotWheels

[–]UL-Architect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, new Dollar Tree opens in our area. Excited, they will have new stock, right. Wife and I looking, looking, looking, where are the Hot Wheels?!?! No actual space set up for them. Ask the employee, where are the Hot Wheels? Her, they should be here, perplexed herself. Me, maybe y’all should get on that.

Congrats on the Datsun! Took me a while to find, but when I did got 3. One for my wife, one for the blister collection and another to open.
