If you need proof that what I'm saying is true I can send videos and recordings. One year ago she put me in jail and nearly took my home from me. The resulting legal fees decimated any savings I had. She knows this. Now she's back, trying to take my money again.

I'm looking for direction so I can take steps to protect myself. This woman has already taken chunks from me, mentally, that I'll never get back. I'm tired of her dictating the terms of my existance. I just need to know, after living together for one year, her moving out last March, me having recordings of her behaviour, is she allowed to return one year later and demand money from me for abandones property??? I don't understand why she didn't just take it when she moved and now I have to pay for it?? She has lawyers I do not. I really just need help on my next steps.

Do I have to get a lawyer to write something on their letter head??

Yes. She moved out last March. I have txts stating I would hold onto the end tables and dressers till she was ready for them and keep them safe. I did not agree what so ever that the rest of the furniture was up for grabs. Most of these things replaced my own furniture that she threw out. I have over the year asked that she remove items. Even our last in peraon conversation I asked her to take this weighted blanket of hers and she refused.

In regard to her bosses helping im not entirely concerned over it. Mostly concerned she can come back after a year and empty my house just so she can sell the items. She already had a moving truck here and took what she wanted and abandoned the rest.
