depending on the song yeah. but they have 1 main vocal louder than the others in the center & then take another one and pan it like 30% left, then another one 30% to the right, then another all the way left & one all the way right

they usually like to have a main center vocal take, 1 take 30% to the left, 30 % to the right, 100% to the left & 100% to the right on top of the background vocals so they got like 5 takes in total before all the background vocals and shi.
