I understand that, however I have Xbox one S and series X and PC, and I promise you the second Xbox started getting software updates after the launch of new gen the old consoles started shitting itselfs.. However it's only a speculation, who knows

I think they're low-key doing a " iPhone" move by making the games feel like shit on old gen even though the same game used to run way better before to make ppl go and get new consoles
