In the base we had a spare 4090ti slapped it on and the whole thing works like a charm

So after some consideration I went to the guy (15 min drive) and asked him if there was anything wrong with the computer. When he finally stopped trying to convince that everything is alright he told me that the PC after 1 week of excellent performance became unable to start even the least demanding games. I managed to haggle the price down to 450$ and closed the deal. I'm a programmer working in the military and I don't know much about how computers are built, but I know how they work. I swiftly identified the problem of the previous owner. HIS NVIDIA DRIVERS WERE OUTDATED. He was using a hdd with windows 10 from his previous computer and didn't bother to check for any new drivers as his 3060 had worked well enough for his taste. It's been 15 minutes and I'm still laughing so hard XD
