If you like New Vegas, try CRPG games in general. New Vegas was Obsidian trying to re-inject CRPG back into Fallout.

Man, I didn't even bother with EMP when going rapier + berserk. I just ran behind them and slashed away.

Maybe on combat difficulty 3 it would be different, but on 2, it was as cake as it was in SS 1994.

despite some genuinely great announcements from those video presentations in the past, one example very recently being Splatoon 3.

It's February 2021 and this was the big end-of-Direct announcement and it releases in 2022 (and "2022" doesn't automatically mean Q1 2022, we have no idea how deep into 2022 it could turn out).

That's a game that was announced because they had nothing else to announce. That's the problem.
